Mounting 2016 Edollos (where?)

Is the factory recommendation of mounting the 16 edollos too far back?? Does center really make a difference in ski performance?? Does center make butters easier?? Does center make it harder to mess around in natural terrain? Need advice please!

I'd only mount them center if you're going to be using them for park a vast majority of the time.

Otherwise I'd go 2cm or so back from center, better performance out of the park but still perfectly fine for

skiing switch, hitting rails, doing butters, etc.

Mounting center will not make butters easier. Having good fitting boots will be far more beneficial then where you mount the bindings when it comes to butters. If you've got sloppy fitting boots you could have the softest skis in the world and still not be able to butter very well because the power transmission from your feet/legs to the ski is inefficient.

Recommend is -2.5cm

-2.5cm would be good for everything pretty much.

Might want to go ever so slightly forward though (perhaps -2cm?) if you plan on skiing switch a lot or riding heaps of park. Won't make a huge difference but might make it feel a bit more natural for switch riding.

I just go my edollos mounted and the marking that armada has is alittle off of what it should be. So if u were to tell the shop u wanted center they would mount it there but it wouldn't actually be center because of the marking from the factory so that's why I ask them to do measured center so that way I know the ski is getting mounted where it's supposed to be.

How did you measure to find true center of the ski? Seems weird that their measurement would be off.

I took a tape measure and measured the entire ski and then from the u just find the center of that measurement. I thought it was alittle weird too but my buddy at the shop said its not uncommon for the markings to be alittle off.
