Mountains in the West

Same thing I'm doing. Except I manage the night shift for the rental shop on our mountain. You never miss a pow day!

then don't go to baker. there is no town, the closest thing is glacier, which is like 1/2 hour away, and is a really small town, not much of a scene. also, northwest pow is competely different than anything you're used to, it's thick and heavy like cream cheese. tahoe would probably be your best bet, just stat the application process early for jobs, and plan out your housing sooner rather than later.

I guess if your priority is skiing, then yeah. But, you would think after spending so much money for your college degree you would want to do something worthwhile with it. I guess it all depends on what your degree is...

yeah i will end up spending a good amount of dough on a degree. I saved a lil cuz i go to a state school and have seen some of my friends try to justify spending 45-50 gs a year at a non-ivy(or compatible) school. Even at that for undergrad degree i really don't think it's worth dropping 170 grand after four years.

I'll eventually go to law school and pay loans out the ass, but i need a couple years off.

Narrowed it down to tahoe area or SLC, leaning to SLC. who knows though haha. Thanks again

washington you have baker, crystal, snoqualmie would prabaly be good, stevens. In oregon mt bachelor would be good. in cali you could go to tahoe. or if you wanna go way north go to whistler but jobs would prabably be hard to get their.

believe me, ive done the research. Unless, you have a serious connection like owning a business and making your own hours then your limited. There are no skiing jobs out of college with a degree that are going to allow you to ski A LOT just out of college.

well i was hoping to steal your idea, haha.

Hopefully I can find something hence why I'm starting a full year ahead of time.

If you want to come to slc, and live in slc housing isn't a problem. but if you want to live in park city (not that you mentioned anything of it, i'll just state it now...) get moving on housing now. and jobs pretty soon. The open housing in park city has been declining every year and is pretty difficult to find past october when the rest of the international crowd looks into their housing. Last year there were people living in hotels all season.
