Mountain Creek is getting a pipe.

the pipe will be sick but i hear they might move the park to north. thats gonna suck if they do n yeah the park has sucked compared to previous years.

the park is not moving to north, it never was. and this years park is going to blow previous years out of the water. last year was one of the best parks we have built IMO (minus the QP). it just takes creek a while to get up to speed. this year, creek has a basically unlimited budget to build jibs, jumps, and anything you can slide. the new management (which everyone thought was going to suck, myself included) recognizes that the future of our sport does not lie in groomers, but an aggresive terrain park.
that being said, new jibs are being built by the day, and needless to say, im stoked on them. i cant tell you if there all going to make it onto the hill this year, but expect some sick shit from creek this year.

you guys are dumb creek has a solid park and it has steadily been improving year by year, last year was definitly their best park to date. QP was dumb but it lead to that stockpile session which was awesome.

At least creeks finally putting money into improving the mountain and not building an empty lodge.

Half pipe could be fun but it will probably only be up for a little bit at the end of the season, and all the man hours/snow/space could be used for better things.

the pipe will be up early compared to previous years. the location is right next to the QP, and all the snow guns are fed by gravity as opposed to pumping the water up the hill. cost effective half pipe!

creek has 3 different peaks: vernon, granite, and south. they took their 3 park trails from north and moved it all over to south, which is now a peak full of park features. so actually, creek has stepped up their game an ass load since the last time you were there

Anything that mountain creek decides to do is pretty sick. I just hope they make their

jumps a little better this year.

Although im not a big fan of pipe, creek hasn't had a good one in years and i dont think its a bad idea to put it at bear. At least it will get more use than a big ass quarterpipe and will make a bad ass rail jam come srpingtime.

On that steep hill on bear where there was there qp last year, I have always wanted creek to blow a shit load of snow there and make a super legit 60-70ft step over jump. Not only would it be so sick to hit but it would give creek a good reputation in the jump category and would bring people and events like big air comps.
