A lot of people don't know about Mountain Creek in NJ, a lot of people also probably talk shit about Jersey but I'm gonna let you in on it all. Mountain Creek has by far one of the top 3 terrain parks on the East Coast. If anyone north of NJ thinks their park is better (besides Okemo and Stratton), your bullshitting yourself. Mountain Creek is owned by Intrawest which explains it all (if you don't know about Intrawest resorts gon fuck yoursefl)! They boost an Olympic size halfpipe with lighting that meets television night standards and its own snowmaking. Besides countless hits, MC will probably be sporting 40+ jibs this year. Their sick rails range from kinks, flat, C, S, rainbow, and roller coaster which compare to the ones that you'll find out west. This year they will also be adding a C box and two flat down boxes. MC is the shit and has been recognized and put on underated lists by FREEZE, Freeskier, and Transworld Snowboarding. MC is even holding the Grand Prix's this year with a possible stop by the Siver team and Glen Plake's Downtown Tour? Still think Jersey sucks...most likely it rock the hell out of your resort in the East Coast -- (Okemo and Stratton excluded)

i've heard it's pretty awesome. I'm going to check it out this season for a few days... im looking forward to it.

i live in nj and have gone to mc multiple times. its alright. the parks are good put the skiing sux. not challenging at all. There was one east coast mountain u forgot about with awesome parks and pipe...MOUNT SNOW. Easily one of the best mountains on east coast and top 10 in US.

 
yeah, their park is not that good, and mount snow is real nice. plus this year there is no snow, and the temps have been too high for them to make it. i think they are closed today.

mount snow is still better also. and what size is an olympic size halfpipe. its like you're talking about a friggen pool. is that a superpipe or a regular pipe?

I will be at both within the next 2 weeks. I'll post which is better. But for now...

Mountain Creek.

Spent the summer excavating dirt for a bigger pipe. Uses the Zaug (new arm) to sculpt. Pipe is definatly a superpipe, but the first year for it to be this big.

Mount Snow- Old X Games site, killer park and pipe overall, also a superpipe with 18 foot walls. Its 460Feet long which is badass, and it was rated #1 in the East by Transworld. On paper, MountSnow wins. But I'll tell ya after I ride both.

 
ok... mountain creek is great.. if you love skiing on pure ice, first off new jersey sucks as a state... you can't make left hand turns there, second they have a lot of shit in their park but the features are small as hell, they have liek 'huge' 25 ft kickers, go to a real mountain like Snow... 75ft tables tops are the real shit

 
yea... i live in NJ and ive always wanted to live somewhere there r real mountains but im lucky i can ski at least. ive never been to MC but ive heard the park is ok depending on when u go and the rest of the mountain is just a waste.

 
i dont really like it the people are creeps and to many ppl are in the park always and the intrawest ppl always over sell tickets

'infernohits' you are a jackass....Yes, mount snow has some decent hits...but they sure as hell are not great...

Creek doesnt have anything big? What about the 65'rollercoaster rail? Or the 52foot S rail? Or the 35foot double kink rail? Face it, when it comes to jibs, MOUNT SNOW AINT Got em....Mount Snow rails just plain suck. Also, the maintenance of the park at mount snow is really bad...At least Creek keeps the park groomed really nice and they know how to shape things.....It must suck when you know a resort in NJ has a better park than you and your afraid to admit it....sooo sad.

 
^you are such an ignorant moron. skiing isn't all about rails jackass...and snow has plenty of them anyway. and have you ever really been to mount snow? elia keeps the parks in tip top shape. the jumps are always perfect. so aren't the jumps onto rails. half of the time elia goes out in the cat himself and tills the landings of the jumps before the day even starts. shut the hell up. mountain creek isn't and will never be better than the parks up here. yeah you kids can have all your rails and a bunch of true jersey joeys in your park. do us all a favor up here and stay the hell in jersey.

infernohits, the park at mt snow is just as icy as anywhere else. the layout of inferno hasnt changed in 5 years. no flow. maybe top 50 in the country, but not top 10. out west any park is better than inferno

Riding rails is a BIG part of riding parks....The rails at mount snow dont even come close to Mtn creeks...Mountain Creek has more rails, better rails, harder rails...enough said.

I was at Mount Snow last season for the Grail and the park was sooo lame it was rediculous...It had the same layout it did in like 1995. Nothing innovative and incredibly old school.

I dont care what you say, ive been to both places and Mount Snow cant even come close to competing with Mountain Creek. Rank on jersey all you want, but we've got a better park.

Oh, one more thing.....GO FUCK YOURSELF

 
Mtn creek definately wins for best rails in the east but mt snow takes the prize for best hits. snows jumps are sculpted to perfection and are HUGE (72' table this year) thats unheard of on the east coast - plus snows got tons of new rails this year
