MOUNTAIN CREEK IN NJ IS WAY BETTER THAN YOU THINK

A lot of people don't know about Mountain Creek in NJ, a lot of people also probably talk shit about Jersey but I'm gonna let you in on it all. Mountain Creek has by far one of the top 3 terrain parks on the East Coast. If anyone north of NJ thinks their park is better (besides Okemo and Stratton), your bullshitting yourself. Mountain Creek is owned by Intrawest which explains it all (if you don't know about Intrawest resorts gon fuck yoursefl)! They boost an Olympic size halfpipe with lighting that meets television night standards and its own snowmaking. Besides countless hits, MC will probably be sporting 40+ jibs this year. Their sick rails range from kinks, flat, C, S, rainbow, and roller coaster which compare to the ones that you'll find out west. This year they will also be adding a C box and two flat down boxes. MC is the shit and has been recognized and put on underated lists by FREEZE, Freeskier, and Transworld Snowboarding. MC is even holding the Grand Prix's this year with a possible stop by the Siver team and Glen Plake's Downtown Tour? Still think Jersey sucks...most likely it rock the hell out of your resort in the East Coast -- (Okemo and Stratton excluded)

 
mt snow? sunday river? they dont got the jibs but i garuntee the parks better. plus......MC is an ice ball 24/7

 
Mc does have great railsbut the tables are way to small...Mount Snow has a ton of kinks now, roller coaster, 10' high rainbow, Rainbow C rail.....plus a ton of huge tables, 55' being the largest....you can't compete with that. Don't be fooled my young Jedi, Up north has a lot better snow and terrain, and they are catching up witht the rails. Snow got rated in Freeskier, Freeze and Transworld as top 10 in the US and #1 in the East. MC is great for the mid-atlantuc and I go when I'm stuck in Jersey....But I make the drive to Snow everyweekend so I can play with the big boys on the Pro size tables.....I love rails, but you gotta be well rounded! Your biggest Table is maybe 25'....maybe! Plus the halfpipe kinda blows because of the frezze thaw shit happening so much. Plus it doesn't really open completely until Jan??? Stratton, Okemo, Stowe , Sunday River all have great parks with a ton of new rails for this year!!! If I lived in Pensyltucky then I would ski there over any other PA. resort, but not over new england resort! Enjoy your season and a great Mid-atlantic resort

I met the two guys that run the park last winter I was their vallet/bellhop when they were on vacation someone gimme a cookie

MC is a decent hill, but being that its in jersey, it just automatically sucks. plus, it has terrible tables, only rails.

 
last year creek had a 45 footer at the end of the season.

it would be sweet if they had the snow to make better jumps.

I think waterville and loon's parks are better... I also think sunday river is... I DON'T think okemo is... stratton, well, yes, it is... but ya, MC is sick.

I agree with the fact that the tables at mc are just too small. Being in new jersey its hard for a mt with a lack of snow to create big tables they just cant compete in jumps with new england. Although last year they did have a 50ft tabletop that was pretty high also. But hopefully this season the mt will try to create bigger tabletops cause from this point things will only get better.

If mountain creek could make more snow, it would maybe be good. and if they turned their whole mountain into just park, it would be ok, because its not like anyone goes there to ski their normal runs, which blow.

seriously, they have nice jibs and shit, but its like skiing on ice, the conditions suck, and everyone from Jersey, New York city, and any other surrounding areas ski there, sorry but I'll pass on the 40 minute lift lines
