yo any of u guys ride?, i need some help

Im looking to buy a new hardtail frame that i can take freeridin, and DH, ive been considering the santa cruz chamealeon, but i cant find one anywhere for a good price, any other suggestions? im upgrading my wheelset as well...

I dont want a full suspension!i can neither afford it or it wouldnt be useful to me, cause i live in mass

thanx

Have you ever seen 2 ducks fight?

I have and its really funny

I ride, I have a soft-tail (3 inches rear travel) DBR which is pretty sweet. Rear suspension is expensive and high maintanence. I think you'd probably quite like a Kona or maybe a trek or something like that would be pretty tight

If you are looking for a good freeride bike check out Azonic frames or Rocky Mountain. Rocky Mountain is sweet they make bikes for people who know and love to ride.

Wheels are tough thing to buy. Mavic 317's and 315's are always a solid choice. Hugi hubs, or the XT disc hubs (if you have disc brakes) are really nice. I have a pair of Hugi hubs and they are the shit.

Check out these sites if you didnt know about them already.

I ride, used to ride hard tail, got a 4.5in. travel bike now, way more fun. there is a few pics in my profile. If you live in BC consider a Snipes hardtail frame. Custom made in Victoria, strong too.

Depends how much you want to spend, and how skilled you are.

Kona and Norco make some nice ht's. Check out the norco 250 if you are on a budget.

If you've got money to spend, check out .243 racing, Snipes, Balfa.

If you've got LOTS of money to spend, check out some of the more premium lines like 24 Cycles (the Le Toy is one of the sickest bikes around) or the Imperial from Evil Bikes (VERY expensive...$1000US for the frame alone.

Go check out the links section on nsmb.com for the company sites.

I've got a azonic Ds-2, I heard the DS-1 are great if you want to use discs. But I've tried both and the difference is minimal. Freeride.......hmmm try a twin sus bud...rocky mountain are pretty good

yeah santa cruizes are good, but if you cant get one of those, get a for if you can. Or a BAlfa minute man.

d00d you just suggested two totally different bikes.

Unless you meant the santa cruz chameleon...and i sure as hell hope you didn't.

A good comparison would be a santa cruz bullit against a balfa bb7. Even still, they are two totally different bikes.
