Mountain Bikes

if your not looking for a long grueling ride bike, but maybe something that rips on aggressive XC courses and maybe a bit of everything else, i have a pretty nice Mountain Cycle Rumble hardtail i will practiclly give to you. its one of the most fun trailbikes ive ever riddin in my life. i just need $ right now alot more than i need a bike i wont be ridding. msg me if your (or anyone else) is at all interested.

Are you looking for an all-mountain bike or a freeride bike or what? What kinda "trails" are you going to be riding?

hats your price range and what do you like riding the most?? Rockey mountain Specialized and Transition are all good bike and have a wide range of models so does kona, and canondale those are just a few, it would be best to go to your local shop and talk to them

i just did alot of research, the mags were saying the gt disc 2.0 was a good beginner bike.

any objections?

its like 500 bucks and has all shimano components.

look at giants, they are a really good deal and usually have really good component sets, cannondales are nice but pricey, treks are a pretty good deal, gary fishers are nice but can be kinda pricey, gt's are going downhill fast, konas are nice but often a little heavy, haro's can be a little heavy component and frame wise but are a good deal...i dunno i'd say just go test ride a bunch of bike and ride whats comfortable...comfort really matters, but i'd say value wise go with giant or trek...but just go to your local shops cuz you really want to get something that a local shop carries

But seriously, you should buy this one. The reserve is at $900, if you want it I'll take it off ebay.

I like my Yeti...don't know if that helps. I also had a cannondale that I liked a lot before it got jacked.

I got a Iron Horse hardtail warrior team bike for like 550 canadian. Sram mechanical disk brakes front and rear. 6065 alluminum frame. Rock Shoxs J1 adjustable suspention. Shram shifters. Truative front gear set, shimano rear. 18 speed. Sram 6.0 rear derailer, shimano xt front derailer. WTB seat, WTB bars, WTB tires, and wheels. I think its bang/buck factor is very high. Just update the peddles, and you have an awsome trail bike.

it all depends what you are into. I love riding bikes it is pretty much my life besides skiing. I would say mabye a trek, gt or gary fisher are usually good trail bikes that are fairly cheap.
