Whos got a good hardtail mountain bike. I live in denver and am replacing an old bike. I ride mosly crosscountry/singletrack type stuff. Not hardcore downhill stuff. Mostly cruising on trails and some technical stuff.

good models and brands for some good riding please

Giant Iguana or Rainier are super good for XC. Be careful with drops to flat though; they aren't made for it.

Check out Giant, they have good quality bikes for pretty good prices, maybe the Iguana?

^ word GF is definatly a great mid-range full suspension. I reccomend the cake 4 dlux. But for a higher end, go rocky mountian, just cant beat them.

I say since your just into like XC and singletrack, go with a Specialized Hardrock, cause they decent quality bikes, for a cheap price.

i have had a kickass limited edition schwinn Bad Lands bike for around 9 years maybe and it was like $500 back in the day. still going stong and kickin ass

^haha my friends screwed some screws into their dirtbike tires and went cruzing in the snow back when it actually was cold. they said it worked awesome

did that with my 450 and hit the table tops so much fun just had to watch out for the ski partol
