ehhhhhh. if you are only tryin to spend 250 get a hardtail with better components don't go for a full unless you are gonna spend at least like 500 used for 1000 new...

^ I would not spend 10 bucks for that. I can guarantee, that the first parts will break after the third ride ... except you think of cycling down the asphalt road when you say mountainbiking!

i wouldnt do it. what kind of riding do you consider mountain biking? dh? dj? park? street?

maybe invest in a sort of decent bmx, or buy a used hardtail on pinkbike or something.

suspension has made so many advances since then, if your gonna do anything more than cruise the nieghborhood on that thing than dont get it.

its a solid bike if your just gonna putt around. but if you wanna do any trail riding its gonna proly need a lot of work every few rides and a lot of upgrades

haha sorry but that bike sucks. i'd buy it for 10 bucks at a tag sale but get a good hardtail for that price. basically it's an equivalent of straight skis that you bought for 100 bucks. that thing's dated and it probably weighs like 400 pounds

you can do much better for 250 even though its not alot

try and save up a bit more

if you get around 500 you can get a real decent used hardtail thats not 11 years old

ok thanks for the input guys.

I basically just saw it and thought it'd be cool to have a full suspension bike. It really just started when i was riding some hilly rockey terrain and after 25 minutes of getting beaten up, my tire popped from hitting rocks and crap like that. I've learned a lot on my crappy hardtail, and just figured that it would be time for a new bike.

Well i'll keep my eyes open for some better, more solid deals...

ya i dh bike and fr bike and i would say definetally go for something else if you are planning on mountain biking, but if you are just riding around...i would probably still go for something else.
