Heyyy I pretty much destroyed my bike last season and am looking for suggestions on a new one...

for a small and intermediate rider sooo somewhat forgiving.

I have some in mind but what do you guys recommend.

Thanks.

specialized SX trail..7 inches of travel, a more freeride syle bike so its a little lighter making it easier to maneuver for a smaller rider

I like the iron horse sunday. its more an all freeride bike but it has almost no peddle bob so its not bad for freeridein

Any girl that does DH and freerides is sexy.

Here some good choices:

Duly - Kona - Stinky

Kona - Coiler Series

Rocky Mountain - Switch 1.0

Specialized - Big Hit II

Norco - VPS Atomic

Iron Horse - 7.5 or 7.3

Brodie - Diablo

HardTail - Jamis - Komodo

Brodie - Big Shot

Norco - Sasquach, Rampage

Banshee - Morphine ($$)

Kona - Stuff

Here are bikes that are at a decent price, but are good. Hartails I would probably but doulbe crown, 7 inch travel fork on, because your big into DH and freeride, jr. T's and 888's are looking really nice, or a Manitou King Pin is very affordable, or a Nixon.

The rocky mountain switch would most likely be good. I just bought a giant ac2 today for 1600 of this guy. It's in really good condition and im stoked.

if you want a pretty solid hardtail, id suggest a kona stuff. i have one and i ride downhill and shit on it and it is nice for dirt jumps, a rocky mountain heckler is a pretty good option as well

honestly kona makes the smallest frames, anything in the stinky line up will fit you fine in a size small. So pick the stinky that fits your price range. For a full suspension that's the best choice. I just switched to a trek session 77 because it is waaay stronger than a kona, but kona is strong enough already. And honeslty a stinky is the only bike that will fit you right.

well it depends if you want a hardtail or dual suspension

personally i ride hard tails because i dont have the money, and its more of a fun ride... just gotta be careful on the size of the drops otherwise youll blow your back tire

but if you want a good hardtail for about 500$ you can get a specialized pro/comp/sport i have 04 comp and its sweet

just go with one of those and youll do great

anyone else ride galbraith?

let me be a little more detailed...there is a variety for freeride bikes such as,

Specialized:

big hit

demo 8 or 9(hope u got some cash)

Kona:

king kikapu

dawg

Then theres all mountain,

Specialized:

enduro

s-works(also expensive)

Kona:

stinky

stinky dee-lux

And of course cross-country,

Specialized:

Stumpjumper(my bike, which i love)

hard-rock

rock hopper(this and hard rock r hartails)

Kona:

Think I'm getting a Jamis Komodo. Pretty stoked, good all around bike from what I hear. As for what you should get, you're the only one who can figure it out. You'll get a different reply from just about anyone.

iron horse 7.9, or the Yakuza type R. the giant faith series ne1 of those. Kona Stinky.

and ya thats super hot that u downhill and freeride ive never met a girl thats into that kinda stuff... ever

considering your on a freeskiing site,so its okay to say ur a freeskier...+ mtn biker....will you marry me?

get a devinci 8-flat-8 thats what I got and went dh 5 times got from gethho x-up on a crappy 400$ hardtail to backflip on a dual supspension dh/freeride bike, its so...perfect
