Mount Snow this weekend

ill be heading up to mount snow this weekend, so im just curious as to how many parks are up on carinthia, how many jumps there are, and what the rail setups looking like. Also, who else will be up there this weekend? im sure since its pay your age day sunday there will be a shitload of ppl to ski with sunday
 
Ill be there both days probably....i hope its not too icy or crowded....im sure sunday will be a mod scene
 
yea i'll be there from jan 7-14... pay your age day is a mad house and the jumps/rails are shot by about 12. Landings for jumps on nitro are all dug out and the rails are fucked. Gulch normally holds up better because less gapers.

I'm praying that its not terrible conditions.... but i have i have my doubts.
 
Nitro was prime as fuck today, and Gulch has been torn down for a total rebuild that should be done by the weekend. With these temps they have been making some serious moves with the fan guns.

Jump line is small.

I really hate pay your age day, it's such a bummer and a total waste of a perfectly good ski day.

Will be up Friday-Sunday this weekend, stoked to ride the fruits of this cold spell!
 
A tad larger, but nothing more. The first jump was basically a roller when I was there before the holiday. You can take the last stepdown before the flat pretty deep if you so chose...seen some kids throwing 9's on it.
 
by 12 all the jumps and rail landings will be "dug the fuck out" and Nitro will be a shit show.

Gulch and inferno normally hold up much better though.
 
Nitro is sick, but i'm not a big fan of the 2 hips they have. I mean they're fun, but I'd rather see some really long rails in their place or just a couple extra booters. It's cool seeing them change things up and shit from last year, but idk, just my opinion. Every1 likes different shit.

Can't wait to see Gulch when they unveil it.
 
Maybe going up for pay your age, i talked to the park supervisor and he told me they were re-doing nitro and gulch, itll be nice to see more variety on gulch which the gapers usually are afraid of, and nitro will be fun for hot laps

ill be there everyday Gulch setup is lookin prime and nitro was sickk today.

Ill be in the Black Bloom Jacket and either LDC Night pants or Red LDC Hotbox pants.
 
I know it sucks...same to you man....at least he went big..he backflipped the last jump on gulch and underrotated on a snowboard..i got it on video it was crazy
 
dope week. pretty bummed though because I dislocated my left leg doing a simple 540 in nitro. made me take it easy the whole rest of the week.
 
You dislocated your LEG? That sounds gnarly. This week was dope though. Yesterday was fucking prime, and tomorrow should be even better. Gonna try to get out at 730 and beat the horde of joeys to all these freshies.
 
Who else poached olympic this morning? There were some epic turns to be had over there. Almost got my pass taken for it but it was soooo worth it.
 
yea leg popped out of my hip, it was pretty radical. it was out for about a minute until a snowboarder ran into me and popped it back into place
