Last weekend we were throwing kegs , eating bratwurst and listening to people yodel...
Enough of that....&@$@# It's time for winter already...
Mount Snow and Carinthia are happy to announce that this Saturday we'll be opening up the Launch Pad mini-park for the first sessions of the season.
Our snowmakers fired up 9 SMI Fan Guns last night and have laid down a good pile of snow already. We'll continue to make snow tonight and tomorrow night as long as we can to give all our friends their first taste of winter.
Gaitor and the rangers have been out digging all morning and have their hearts set on an array of features for the weekend including flat rails, boxes, a dance floor, propane tank and a wall ride.
The plans are to have the Discovery Chair running from 10am-4pm on Saturday and Sunday. Lift tickets are either $10 or simply donate 10 non-perishable food items. All the money and food raised is going to the Deerfield Valley Food Pantry so we can help out those in our area have some good eatin!!
So grab some Ramen Noodles, Mac and Cheese, a can of pork and beans, or whatever and pile in the car and make the trip on over for some early season jibs...
