Mount snow THIS weekend

nope i heard the same news as borland nd his dad works for mt snow so he's a pretty reliable source
 
heard the same god damn thing and if they do open its gonna be with like 1 feature and its gonna be a box thats ride on and 1/2in outta the ground the insurance cant cover anything else this early
 
hmmmm, that doesn't sound right, Peak resorts runs our hill too and we are opening Saturday with 10 or more jibs and a couple jumps.
 
"It's official. You will be skiing or riding Mount Snow tomorrow at 8 a.m. (well, 8:06 if you count the lift ride).

Let's hear it for November 2007, bestowing solid cold temps and allowing us to blow tons of snow with our new fan guns, scoring us our earliest opening since 1998.

So what's going to be open? About 150 guns are cranking out snow as we speak, and they'll keep at it until we open tomorrow. Macho Snowmakerman Randy Barrows has assured me a nonstop onslaught all day and night tonight on Upper Canyon, Canyon, Standard, Launch Pad, Long John, Nugget and, oh yes… our new terrain park Vermontster. There'll be no connection from the summit to Carinthia, so park over there if you're looking for freestyle terrain. A shuttle bus will also be running between Main Base and Carinthia.

We'll be servicing beginner terrain on Launch Pad, with intermediate to advanced terrain from the summit. The Nitro lift will be open at Carinthia, servicing a run down Long John and into Vermontster (Gaitor hopes to get at least a half dozen rails and boxes on the side of Long John - Vermontster's not quite ready for hardware). The Canyon Express lift will also be turning if you need to get your legs back on Standard before heading up to the top on the Grand Summit Express quad. From the summit, you can take the Canyon/Standard route (top to bottom skiing on Nov. 10, say yeahhhh!)."

theres no snow route from carinthia to the main base yet, and theres prolly not gunna be any features on the main base, so carinthia lot it is.
 
ok it said that theres no trail from the summit to corinthia, but they'l have vermonster open which is the park run. then it said they might not have any hardware on it yet, but will try to get some on long john...but long john connects to corinthia....wtf im so confused

i was gonna park at the main parking lot, but now it says park at corinthia...where is every1 else parkin?

i say the safety meetin is held at 8:30 at the top of the nitro chair(corinthia's 4 person chair), obviously we will move from that spot for the meetin to take place, but we could all gather there. if people wanted it can be at 9, but im not sure if im gonna have much to contribute after a while so the earlier the better...

give suggestions, we'l all kinda agree/disagree on things, and the decision will be made by 9 pm est tonight and hanges after that
 
lets make it official

Park in the MAIN lot....they said a shuttle will go to the park (Carinthia). This way we all park in the same spot and go take a couple warm up laps on the mountain. Then at 9 oclock for you later people "SAFTEY meeting" in the "park". Or if you have pregamed just come on over for some good times with your best buds.

word sounds good. safety meeting is officially at 9am at the entrance to the park...we'l move somewhere else once every1 is gathered if there are problems
 
this is saturday...if people wanna organize somthin sunday then its up to whoever is goin...im gonna be there monday too so if ur gonna be there then then pm me
 
fuck, im driving 5 hours each way by myself to go here, nobody at my university has their skis yet.

idk if im going, i couldnt find anyone to carpool with and i dont feel like droppin 70 on gas and 30 on ticket for one day

Sick yo i'm going to sleep now and waking up in about 7 hours to make the trip up I'll see y'all in the mornin. I'll be in bright green pants and a light blue/colorful hoodie on those old ass black tanner halls.
 
mount snow is prob blowing up right now, you guys are lucky. hope ya had fun. what was set up so i can know what i missed haha.
