"Gaitor, our Parks and Pipes Manager, plans to set up a funbox this morning, maybe even a rail.

It’s all about f-u-n today. I won’t tell if you call in sick and head up. Making turns in October is a special gift that should not be taken for granted. Check mountsnow.com tonight for video footage."

Not sure what to make of that, but to me it sounds like they will a ox up, and maybe a rail for anyone to come up and session.

Thats crazy! This morning I had frost on my windows and when I scraped it off it turned into snow and I got really happy.

haha i had the same thing happen this morning. when i told people about it they just looked at me like im some sort of idiot.

Woahh thats sick, and really surprising. Sad to say that my mountain will never even consider doing anything like that. Ever.

"Thanks to more temps in the 20s last night, the snow has held on

beautifully, and a fun box, a flat rail and a barrel bonk are still set

up on Launch Pad (thanks, Gaitor). In fact, Steve from Backside

Snowboards is out jibbing right now, shirking his inventory duties (he

called in siiiiick, bro).

You can come up and test our snow yourself. Just stop in the season

pass office under the Clocktower for a free pass and head over to

Launch Pad."

They are all too busy stuffing their faces full of their own words to come in and hate.

gahh i hate having school or i d be there right now. and i d doubt they ll keep it open this weekend, cause they ll have a slew of people hitting it. but, if they do, i ll be thurr

Watch the video on Mount Snow's site. It's a simple box, and a simple flat rail. Nothing exciting, but cool if you're local and jonesing for any sort of skiing.

was gonna drive up today but isnt worth the two hour drive everythings pretty much ride on and small but its better than nothing if you cant hit something close to your house. if they set something better up for the weekend ill go up for sure

yeah, yesterday a.m. when I got to work the first thing I heard when I got out of my car was snow guns-needless to say this made me incredibly stoked and then we run into Steve and he's like "they're setting up rails as soon as the snow guns get shut off" so on lunch break we rush home and grab our gear-so antsy the rest of the day-can't wait to get off work and jib-and end up ditching outta work early painting and session the crap outta this!!!! so fun...today was looking a little sparser-no snow made last nite but tonite hopefully-they're gonna have stuff setup as long as there's some snow there!!

So def come out for it!! Super fun! Super stoked! See you all there tomm!!!!!!!!!

I really want to hit this up, however i kinda want clarification that the stuff will still be up on fri/sat... as i don't want to drive 1.5 hours to find out that its been taken down or that i'm not allowed to hit it. Does anyone know anyone who can clarify this, or is there someone on here that works there? Any help would be great!

"We blew snow for 14 hours last night and threw a mini rail jam to celebrate."
