Mount Snow Open

Practice going down tomorrow, registration at the Carinthia base lodge opens at 9 a.m. Athlete meeting at 4 PM Friday afternoon in Carinthia base lodge!

for real...but everyone keep an eye out in jacksonville in front of the gas station, got a $260 speeding ticket threw there last weekend

haha yeah i have a funny story about that, my uncle who has been going up to MS since like the 70s always said there was a police car behind a building near the gas station, and it was up there every time they went up so one day he decided to investigate (this was like 1978) and it turned out the police car had no engine and was scrapped in the inside so it was just there to scare people which i find hillarious but i guess nowadays they put a real police car there now

Do they do any kind of late registration the morning of slope? I'm not registered but want to compete and was wondering if it would be possible if I showed up mad early tomorrow?

So many good kids here. Not much in prize money, so whoever does win will have huge respect in my eyes, such a deep field. It will be interesting to see who rises to the top. Everyone in practice was clean and so smooth in spite of typical hard flat east coast landings.

Come on sponsors! What the hell, Mount Snow has stepped up, where are you? You dummies should be here with your new gear at a minimum, cash at a maximum.

I am with you all the way on this one papasteeze. These kids really know how to throw down and should be getting more recognition.

Putting in a plug for Jackie Kling from Big Boulder PA who front flipped the next to last jump then 540 over the big one then on her next run 360 the next to last and flipped the big one.! For the win!

The comp was ill, people were throwing down like crazy. Props to the girl that frontflipped the second to last jump in inferno, it was a real ballsy trick and she landed it clean. Real fun weekend.

in case anyone was wondering about pipe results

1. Evan Schwartz

2. Matt Duhamel - T

2. Marshal Lacroix - T

4. Evan Walls - T

4. Sandy Boville - T

although many people didn't compete pipe, the competition did not have a lack of talent and those who made it into the finals really deserved it

Jamison Irving. I was there all week and, considering how hard the conditions were (flat landings for slope and icy pipe), there were some impressive tricks being thrown down. Congrats to logan and white. Kindof surprised this didn't get a NS front page article.

top 4 are from CVA in Sugarloaf Maine and Sandy is from Canada - i think Walls is originally from Mass, but the others i'm not sure
