Mount snow killing it

the peace pipe railjam was held today at carinthia. pushed way more snow then i thought was there and set up a flatish/down box, a flat down box and a propane tank stall. later in the day there was a downrail laying around that a bunch of riders set up. the park rangers didn't get pissed they literally said, "its memorial day, whatever have fun". and the judges added the rail to the competition.  the rangers were always salting and the snowheld up surprisingly well.  shout out to mt snow for putting on probably the best late season thing i have seen. 
 
Thanks to whoever built the mini jump, the guy that motivated everyone to help him move/set up the down rail, and of course Mt Snow.
 
i really can't believe they were only able to set up 1 line, kind of a waste of snow. i had fun, but way more fun at windham, which didn't have the silly competition aspect. can't complain too much about skiing on memorial day, but the lips were terrible onto both features - they actually dug away the lip to the flat box, i thought that was the dumbest thing I HAD EVER SEEN. maybe its cool for snowboarders, or maybe i'm just a gaper, but the flat/down was also just plain dangerous, so many people got caught underneath the end of the box. didn't stop kids from killing it, so it was probably just me but the things that saved the session for me were the down rail and the backie booter, neither of which were set up by mt snow's park rangers. thanks goes out to the motivated riders who set them up
 
the flat box with the dug away lip i thought was gay at first, but it turned out to be a lot of fun. if it did have a jump i think it would have been way less fun. its such a small feature that with a ride on lip it would get old real fast. just added another lil aspect to the skiing. and i will give you the point that the flat down could have been better. should have went narrow to wide not wide to narrow. but i thought the lip was fine. the only people that i saw get caught up were people going either retarded slow, or were just clueless.

that girl wasss soooo hott ha geoff kept trying to talk to her and i asked her if she was ok after she fell once and she giggled , my heart almost melted
 
any footy from that going up soon? there were a couple tricks I wanna watch over and over. *cough*WillWesson*cough*

and yeah we have video of will and others killing it(and kennedy getting killed, well almost)

i personally had much more fun at ms then windham but that might have been because i knew 20ish people that were there. more kids were throwing down, it didnt get crowded in between features. after most people had left we built a lip with like a foot gap onto the flat/down box and it seemed like it worked better, but no lip during the comp's was more fun then just the ride-on lip that was forming. the lip for the flatdown did get a rut in the middle after a while but it held up for the most part. also, that's the widest down box they have, so thats why it went fat to thin

you know its a good session when people do flips for the first time. shout out to "jackie" for learning back flips.
 
wow nick miles has progressed leaps and bounds this season. did he move "out west" i heard he lived with one of the judges? those guys were a couple of has been washed up drunks anyway. this event was alot of fun and fun to watch. tons of people around watching as well. good job mount snow park and event guys for maiking this happen. And no ones bought a 3 dollar cheese burger at corinthia since '69.
 
yeah it was sickkk. and after when everyone was getting the results me and some jiminy kids and maybe somewhere else idk, sessioned the flat box at the top..
 
post-comp box sesh was ill, learned some new tricks, met some cool kids.

I was the kid in the Grateful Dead shirt, btw.

i got some nasty sunburn, nice blistering on the face. good stuff
 
hahahahah helll no im not the blonde girl with dreads... ew " ive been skiing for 20 years!" ... i was the snowboarder. 
 
and nah i wasnt the girl with black dreads that won either.. i was the only girl sessioning with you guys i think..other then the dread lady
