WE ARE OPEN TODAY!

Long John, Cascade, Canyon, Nitro, The Gulch, Titanium, Launch Pad, and Beaver Hill will all be open for cruisin'. This is approximately 76 acres of skiing and riding.

The Grand Summit Express Quad, Canyon Express and Discovery Shuttle are open on the main face, and the Nitro Express is open on Carinthia.

Gaitor and crew will be setting up features on Nitro as the day goes by, totalling somewhere around 10 rails, boxes and bonks.

our snowmakers will continue to blow snow all week so that we can open more trails for the weekend.

with the rumors of snow later tonight and into tomorrow, how many features/trails do you think you guys will be having over the weekend? I checked the MS sight but i'm not sure if things will be changing for the weekend. thanks
 
they're going to add as they can. but the snow tonight is supposed to change to into a mix even in VT so its not going to be all snow. i'm sure there will be more features by saturday though
 
please be open on sunday. school trip is planned for sunday and i want to hit a jump so bad...

Gaitor and crew will be shutting down NITRO tomorrow to rebuild for the weekend and upcoming season. Tonight is the magic night as termed by our snowmaking director as it's going to be fning cold and dry. Closing tomorrow will allow the parks department 36 hours to put in some larger features and more features.

Look for a legit top to bottom park for the weekend including Grommet and some features in the Gulch as well.

Snowmaking will continue on the Gulch and move to MineShaft and Inferno next week.

The reason for small features early in the season is due to the fact that we opened with minimal snowmaking in reality for a full park. Now that we've been able to make snow, got a foot yesterday, our crew will be able to push around some more snow, make some jumps, and put together a park that will flow a bit better. Remember we only opened Monday. It's been four days give us some time and you'll have the parks you love.

^^ You should really keep that half tube on the table right where lower titanium starts, it's such a fun feature and it would be really legit to have that there all season. It's a perfect feature for that spot. Dewww it!
 
word. i am hoping for some fun bigger features (rails) and some jumps.it woul dbe dope to have a longrail line with a jump line next to it on each platform. just an idea?
 
Sweet. The wideness of the table makes it so sweet, you can come in from like 6 feet to the side of the rail. Plus the lip is mad smooth.
 
Chris, you and Andrew should go up on Saturday - that's when I'm going. I'm also probably going on Sunday.
 
I'm a bit confused on lift ticket prices for the weekend- on sunday you said young adult lift tickets would be 39$ but the website says 64$ but I assume the 64 is for when the season really takes off? I'm not sure if this is still considered "preseason" or not. thanks boys
 
Here's the deal for lift tickets:

$65 Adult, $55 Y/A, $45 Jr/Sr.

Sunday is Youth Pay Their Age Day so if your under 18 it's a steal....

College Season passes still are for sale while not at the lowest price are still a pretty good deal at $399 for MS, Crotched and Tash...

On another note we are working on a complete rebuild of the CarinthiaParks Website.

What would you guys like to see on that site? We are working on developing a site that is both informational, image heavy, and available for video sharing and updating...

Thanks for the love.... While we had to wait a little longer I think we're in for a great season at Snow and Carinthia.

i'd like to see a daily blob like you guys do with the snow report on the main website (possibly updated again throughout the day, thatd be awesome). keep flash off the site please, yeah it looks cool but sucks dick to be quite honest. pictures updated as much as possible. daily vid with like a lap through one of the parks? idk, would be cool but might be a lotta work.

basically just keep it updated
 
Flash is the reason we are rebuilding. lame.

A park report is on the current site and is updated everyday just about and will continue to do so as the season goes on.
