Mount snow first in the east??

it all depends on the weather though. i mean wachusett is saying somthing like the 23rd but they usually dont open until after thanksgiving more towards december 1st
 
seems a little silly considering november 12th is a monday, but none the less that would be so sick and i would skip school in a heartbeat
 
still claiming which is still before waht anyone else said in this thread. only time will tell though. Expect an opening day sundayriver thread from me.
 
Catoloochee in southern north carolina opened november 4th last year and will have snowmaking temps tonight and tommorrow and probably a few more days this week. look for them to be first in the east to open and stay open
 
yeah i just talked to my dad who works for mt snow, and he said they told him they were trying for the weekend after that, the 17th
 
yeah i heard how killy isnt even gonna try this year because they lose too much money and shit. i also heard theyre not honoring the lifetime passes anymore... kinda sad.
 
They said today they will start blowing snow this week. As long as the weather continues the way it is.
 
I'm just waiting for wachusett to open, free bus goes there from my school every week, so its the only place i can go since i dont have a car =/, but i dont think the bus even starts going there till january
