For those of you that did not hear or see

The North Shore's best ski resort received close to 2 feet yesterday, and thats in the parking lot. Good news for us here in the city---bummer whist only got 4 cm, but not really a surprise.

By the looks of it Seymour will be good to go in the very near future.
 
No way! I didn't hear, that's dope news. Funny that grouse only got a little bit. Do you think it'll be worth hiking this weekend, or would whistler backcountry be better?
 
id reccomend hiking seymour as theres way more snow, its way closer, and its not gonna rob you of your money, dignity, and desire to ski
 
I wish dude, I have exams still-- 1 today, 1 monday, 1 Wednesday all hard with lots of reading. On the plus side, all three North Shore Mountains open tomorrow, with grouse devirginizing their new greenway chair. I am considering Baker on sunday. They are predicting an opening on Sunday, and are supposed to get 40-60cm today/tomorrow, which would be pretty epic for sunday, considering its going to be -20c. If anyone is down for Baker on sunday, hit me up.
 
yo yo yo yo yo yoo. so seymour was mad niggerish yesterday. easily two feet of fresh on top of an inch of ice. a lot of trekking around though... not too fly.
 
Yo! everyone:

today was the first day of mushroom park

and in good ole seymour fashion its the sickest park on the north shore right now. expect it to exceed whistler within the next 24 hours so thatll save you the drive and the carbon footprint!

heres whats up:

street style square bar down bar

flat corrogated pipe

olly bar with hippy hop option

flat bar rail (mellow)

flat box (mellow)

kicker for daddy backflips

be forewarned that freemour is a foreign myth and we will be checking tickets, but its really cheap right now so shouldnt be a problem

the snow is really sick right now, super soft, and were in the park keepin it tight all day. feel free to roll up and give input on what youd like to see done, or if you want a feature patched up

also we'll be addin features all day tommorow so come shred!

day 2: Mushroom Park at Seymour

Nother super nice sunny day. cold but its keeping the snow on point, and hiking keeps you warm

the park is shaping into 3 distinct lines

Skiers right line:

1 square bar 20 foot down rail

1 round bar 25 foot down rail

Middle:

Corrogated pipe on downslope (to be completed tommorow)

24' Down flat rail

Pole Jam rail (basically a rail that shoots you up -super fun)

Left Lane:

to be completed tommorow

8' flat box

20' flat box

and something else

another amazing day, this sun is killing it for the mountain

snow is staying fresh and soft
