My CT 1.0 is of course at candide line, and after reccomendation here I put my CT 3.0 at candide line, which worked out great and just feels like they are in the right place. They just have a nice natural feel as they were ment for it (which they of course are) but the tails also feels nice.

Now I just got a pair of prodigy 3.0 19/20 190cm as they just went on sale . so where do I mount? this will be all mountain with laps through park when friends allow it, and I have a lets say "aggresive go fast" style on carving, but I wanna do laps in the park without changeing skis, not really planning on rails, just jumps and some boxes. I know its not going to carve like my mantra 102s, but I will be more playfull and hopefully more stable than say bent chetler 100. I'm not expecting them to be a proper carving ski, but sometimes you have to make some sacrifices. my Deacon 84 is pretty shit for landing switch and jumps ;)

Actually spent a few days on the CT 3.0 192cm on groomers surprisingly fun, jumping rollers and such its just silly stable in air and on landings. Hopeing it will bring som of that "faction fun" combined with carving groomers.

Suggested mount point seems 8cm from center, just keep it, or +2 for 6? I want to be able to carve and drive the shovels, but.. also wanna be able to ski switch/land switch.

I have other skis with mounts pushed forward where front of ski just noodles as it ends up short, and tail feels long, and dont want that, so hmmmmmm.

maybe some tips [tag=61928]@skidemon22[/tag] ?

There should be a freestyle line and an all mountain line, it feels way more balanced at the freestyle line. I have a 2.0 mounted at the freestyle line and it’s stupid fun, stable on big jumps and rippin groomers but also easy to ski and land switch, all while feeling really well balanced

yeah sent it in for mounting at freestyle a few hours ago :)

I spend more on mounting each season than the template costs.. but like to support them, they do a good job.

That’s a good place to mount! we know that the prodigy is still a directional ski, and have mounting lines that will help you get the most out of the ski :)

the freestyle line is still a good bit back from center, so the ‘everyday-aspect/mission’ of the ski is still retained

Was to lazy to measure the points vs tails, from tail, the AT line is -8cm from center, ref blister review?

So freestyle is -5cm?

Guessing someone will google it and wonder

Freestyle line on my prod 2s is further back than the 4s. Imo the 2 is wayy far back

I just think it's funny how the reccomended point on a park ski is further back than a pow ski in the same line

The shape/ sidecut and the rocker/ camber profiles of the 4.0 have different needs re: mounting points

also, the prodigy 3.0 isn’t a park ski
