Mount markings on k2 recoils?

We got my dad the 50th anniversary edition ones, the red white and blue ones. He used to race on the k2 twos with the same graphic, so it's cool for him to have these...

Anyway, I'm trying to get them mounted. The graphic is hard to read, but I can see core center on there. That's the center of the sidecut on these, right? Or is that the geometric center, aka halfway between tip and tail. Because there's one called traditional, which is clearly back from center. The core center seems to be halfway between each end, I need to find a tape measure...

I'm gonna draw a line so the shop doesn't mount them like +100cm or something dumb, but is core center actually a center mount and traditional is a normal back mount?

So I just measured, the "core center" mark is equal distance from tip and tail. That's weird, because they're not symmetric skis. So what's the deal here, is the center of the sidecut at the center anyway?

Or is the center of the sidecut at the recommended mount, which is 3" back from the "core center" that seems to be true center. Pardon my units, we don't seem to have a metric measuring device.

Core center on this ski i believe is just about 4 cm back from TRUE center, which is the halfway point between the tip and the tail. If he is going to be king all mountain, i suggest that he mounts halfway in between the core and the traditional. I say this because when i had a pair of K2 silencers, their where these two markings on there. The traditional mount which i had, had left me with about 3 times more tip length than tail, so the traditional mount is honestly a horrible recommendation.
