Mount Houghton - Touring one of Michigan's Largest

A few weeks back, a crew from Shaggy's Copper Country Skis decided to tour Mount Houghton, in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. I was lucky enough to be invited to go out with them and photograph the adventure. It's amazing how much natural terrain can be found right in our backyards, even in the Midwest.

If you have a moment, take a look at our stories and many of my photos from the trip.

Thanks for taking the time!

Super sick! always wanted to ski tour up there! Seems like a lot of thick woods, but lots of potential. Are there another peaks around there worth touring.

might as well head up to bohemia their terrain is super fun! just implemented cat skiing this season as well

Mount Houghton is actually a bit farther north than Bohemia. Mount Bohemia is an incredible place to ride, but we tried to change things up and explore new places.

There are tons of places to be explored in the UP. Cliff Drive is an area with tons of potential, along with the Huron and Porcupine Mountains!
