Mount Hood

I know there are a few threads about hood but i just want a more recent update. We are planning a trip up there friday and saturday. We really wanna hit some park. What would you suggest between timberline and meadows? You can just pm me or post in the thread.

So timber has better park and all the pimps go there but its hard to find a good day up there its usually blizzardy and windy and snowy. Meadows has okay park and okay day for going but its always packed and filled with billions and billions of gapers. i think meadows is the Gaper spawning point or something. then there is skibowl which has pretty good days always but sucks with jumps but has lots of boxes and rails.

There will most likely not be any park at T-line those days unless they get their lifts open. Ski bowl park is kinda fun if you like boxes... that are really low to the ground. Pretty much the park situation sucks. Pow at meadows though!

meadows has a 15ft 10 10 ft jump line at rose city park

I'd say the jump line is more like 15-20-30. We are really trying hard to get stuff rolling again, the weather has been brutal. You can spend all night in the cat and by daybreak have nothing to show for it, it's like grooming in a sand storm, plus with the freezing rain and high winds we can't even run Normans. I'm pushing hard to get stuff set tomorrow to have a good riding park again by saturday.

thanks for the update. ya the trip didn't work out because we couldn't find a driver. We will plan the next one to Hood sometime in january. What would be a good time to ride a nice jump line in january?

T-line crew is doing a sick job again this year. I like how you guys actually ride through periodically and check to make sure the shit doesn't get all trashed. Also, the boxes were set up nicely for learning and progression.

Bachelor has the best park in Oregon right now and for the rest of season.....hands down.

True for right now. Maybe not when Tline opens paint brush. That can get pretty tech and really fun.

Bachelors park is always amazing and so fun though.
