Motown Throwdown in Morgantown, WV?

I know there is usually a rail jam in Morgantown, West Virgina around this time Im just wondering if they are continuing the tradition and any other details anyone has would be great
 


30 Foot Setup, 20 Truckloads of Snow, Pro Snowboarders, Fuel TV and Snowboarding on High Street. What could be better?

Ok...

So last year we had a budget of $1,000, a feature on the ground, one dj, no pros, and a small Courthouse Square to work with. 1,000 people came, prizes were won, movie nights were held, and hundreds of people were stoked. So promises were made that if I did another one it would be the best event on the East Coast, if not the Country for rail jam festivals. So that brings us to this year. So far we have solidified an entire block of High Street (I m talking Walnut to Pleasant), two or three of the worlds top pros, a thirty foot stairset brought to you by Snowpark Technologies, and more coverage than you could believe. There will be snow, and lots of it, and 5 to 10 thousand people all in your favorite party city! So this will be an event to remember, rival the west, bigger than anything ever done anywhere on the east coast. FuelTV will be here to maybe make a show of it, dueling DJs and more lights, music and fun than your brain can handle. Also there will be a huge National Movie Premier for Mack Dawg's Double Decade and Grenade's The Boned Age on Halloween! yes sir they do, i was in it last year. super fun. super chill peoples. great prizes. they gave away some aramada t-halls for no reason.

bring your gameface tho. some of the kids get a bit too serious.
 
ive been trying to get in touch with the people running this for a few weeks cause i really want to enter if i can, if anyone knows how to reach the people responsible for this event any info would be sick. I have tried to email them a coupple of times but no response

yeah it's true. If you know someone down there that is riding in it or is friends with andrew(the event organizer) you can probably get in. So call your nice buddies from the snowboard club down at WVU and they will help you get in. However not sure how late it is to register. I'm sure people are a little busy which is why they can't get a hold of your calls.

Keep trying. It might be invite only, but that's because it's a pretty legit contest, they have a lot of great sponsers come out and had a SICK DJ last year and it got the whole town hyphy. great atmosphere, great town, and you get to party at WVU afterwards! LOLZZ ON HALLOWEEN WEEKEND EVEN BETTERRRR

if anyone is making the treterous adventure from North East PA or anywhere in that area i would love to bum a ride.

little stark won, 7springs sphc represent. i pussed out and went to roundtop because i havent hit a down rail since before i broke my ankle like 10 months ago and i didnt want to get fucked up on a stair set and ruin me season before its starts. but yo mad props to everyone who entered that shit was ill. i should have given my invite to someone who wanted to go sorry :(
 
Everything exceeded my expectations. On top of that. Morgantown has to have the largest party scene I have ever seen.
 
props to starks for takin it and lilly for lip 2 onto that down bar...my god i would shit my pants......but as i was walking to my car..and papasteeze can second this...fine ass girl walking down the street with just a thong on and fishnets for her bottoms...ass bouncing back and forth with every step...it took the pain of loosing away that much easier
 
Over all the trip was alot of fun and more than worth the hike. I agree with matt 100% everyone slayed, evan the snow boarders threw kraze. The step up was abit short and fast but it was all good it was alot of fun and had a super huge crowd. Personallly I think I could have done alot better but oh well. HAHA also I have never seen that many hot girls in my life.

by far the most ridiculous weekend ive had in a long time. snowboarders were throwing down. heff definitely should have been somewhere in the top three. sorry to anyone who was bothered by my asshole friends chanting GFA
 
no apology needed..i thought it was sick that you had a hole crew backin you in that comp..that was sick
