Motorcycle trip - suggestions?

So I'm taking my motorbike on a small trip during late July and early August. The route is detailed here: http://bit.ly/an5NcE . I will be shooting the entire thing with a 7d and maybe a gopro, and hopefully can put together a decent short film and photo essay when I finish. I'm posting here for two reasons;
1) If anybody on here has a motorcycle and a sense of adventure, consider this an open invitation to join me for part or all of the trip.
2) if you live anywhere along the route and would care to either a) show me some of the crazy, off-the-beaten-path shit your town has to offer, b) go on an alcohol-fueled tour of your town's dive bars, or c) have a couch I could crash on, let me know.

go watch Doin it Baja on VBS. Itll take like 20 minutes out of your life and youll be so much more stoked to go on the trip
 
I've been watching it. good series. almost everything vbs.tv does is really well put together. next year when I can take more time off I'm doing here to southern tip of Argentina and back. this is the warm-up trip to hopefully many trips to come. need to get the kinks worked out and its much easier to screw up in the US than in central America.
 
Suggestions: -Sell some cocaine, put the cash inside your gas tank (gas money)-Listen to The Band and Steppenwolf-Visit a hippy commune-Get arrested-Meet a young Jack Nicholson-Go to New Orleans for Mardi Gras-Smoke grass and drop acid -Watch out for hillbillies with guns in pickup trucks**
 
I am, do you live in SD or Wyoming? and Wild_Style, I see what you did there. I love that movie. too bad Dennis Hopper just passed.

 
neither, i live in michigan but currently am in spearfish to look at black hills state and i am about 98% sure i will be going to school here
