i know man..but it says 720p now is there a way it could be 720 p without being HD...?

No, if it says 720p then its in HD. Just going off my knowledge of HD, I know nothing about the phone

umm, I have this phone and Im pretty sure its not HD... the picture quality is nice though

720p is HD. But 1080p would be called true HD. I don't know why they have 2 different HDs.
