Most you've improved in one season?

Just trying to get inspired and set a goal for this season. What's the most you've ever increased your skiing abilities over the course of one winter? For example, you started the season knowing how to throw 3's and ended with cork 7's.

started this season straight airing jumps. ended with backs, fronts, 3,5,7s, almost flat 3s

This summer was the end of my first season in tha park. I began with 180's and came out with 4 outs, superfeds, 2 on kfed out.

I don't even know how to answer this question.... hahaha

I don't really do tricks with names, so uh....

I started the season pretty decent I guess. And then had some little mid-season crisis and turned into a gypsy, but kept skiing the same.

And then all of a sudden, BOOM SUMMER, and I was skiing with style and trying to do things creatively and shit.

So I would call that improvement.

Started out with sketchy 3s in December (my 3s are still sketchy) learned flat 3s in January, broke my arm in Febraury, got rodeos down well in April then cork 7s in May. I'd say I progressedpretty well, I'm still terrible at rails though

start on snow board try my sister ski buy me ski ( 2 month before the ends of the season) so i learn straigth air, 360 mute, 540, misty 540, 270 in boxes ,swicht up 2out, 270 out almost 450 out of a c box, switch up tail press, switch up on downflat down rail :)

out of the park wise......
when i actually started skiing alot (at the age of 7) i went from barely being able to get down the bunny hill to gettin double blacks easy in one season. and no it wasn't the east coast. twas schweitzer ID
inb4 califoniagrown hatin on schweitzer

first season in the park for me and i learned 3s 5s 7s and some 9s fronts lincoln loops on jumps. for rails i had superfed brittney dub swap 2 out. i progressed so much and i hope to do the same next seaon! /claim

started skiing , without any park ski knowledgs ,

now i throw 3 with almost every grab 5 with any grab , 7 with mute and tail

i can pencil 9 , few inverts

started doing pizzas, not french fries (i like to have a good time) and ended the season doing triple cork mistys like shawn white

Wow sounds like you aren't very good. Better take up a different sport.

And from what it sounds like, I should be AT LEAST capable of doing a 7 (probably cork 7) by the end of this season since I can land sketchy 3's now.

For me it depends where I get to ski, my hills biggest jump this year was like 10 feet and I spent half of my days this season there. Towards the end of the season I got to make alot more trips to the mountains (I live in central Alberta which = flat) which was where I learned most of the tricks I learned this season. It really helps having a good place to ski.

yeah nbd barely any of my tricks have names either. like maybe one or two of them but for the most part I just invent all my shit on the fly

hahaha, when most people claim a trick they can be like "YEEE I did a cork 9 blunt!" or "Shit son, today I stomped the shit out of 2 on, pretzel swap 4 out."

I usually end up trying to explain like "uhhh... you know that rail at the top of the park? yeah well i gapped over the side of it and uhhh, like grabeed and then landed on this and then did something cool off of it" but it takes me like minutes to describe in what I feel is good enough detail

My first season in park was pretty nuts, went from penciled 3's to switch 5's, 9's, grabbed 3's, 2 on 2 outs, fs 2 outs and bs 2 outs, bs sw up and fs sw up.

Dont' really have one season that stood out as improving the most but definitely have had sessions i can pinpoint. Febuary Sesh this year went in being able to slide a box and came out doing Switch 2's onto rails.

Started from nothing. , learnt to ski in one day , then i now do pretty clean 3's , 180's , 2 on 2 out and i hit absolutely everything in the park and im pretty proud of all that shit !

grew up on the east coast to moving out west for college.

best trick when i lived on the east was a 7 and backflips.

first year of college learned frontflips, flat 3, flat 5, cork 7, cork 9, cork 10, rodeo 5, sw 5, sw 7, lincoln, pretzels and learning how to ski pow

it was a prob. the best year of my life thus far

I started two seasons ago with my brand new twin tips. I could not grind a rail, I would hit boxes straight on, and I couldn't do anything past a 3. Now I can grind with style, and pull inverts and 3's,5's,7's,9's, with ease.

my first season in the park was the season before the one that just passed. i learned how to slide a box for the first time, then broke my collarbone the next time i was on snow cause i didn't have my skis and i was too cheap to rent skis so i took a friends snowboard. so this season i picked up how to slide a box again. finished the season with sliding boxes, rails, straight on or urban. got like a bunch of grabs with 1's and 3's and learned 270's off on the last day of my season. Really, t his was my year to get comfortable doing everything in the park.
