Most well-rounded ski movie this year?

I'd say pleasure. It's a bit more on the urban side but there are some solid pow segments. The segment in india is also really great
 
As a big Field Productions fanboy, I have to say Supervention 2. Just one park segment (+ the loop), but lots of creative urban and big mountain. The storytelling parts about X-Games and the comeback of Aksel Lund Svindal was really interesting as well.

Yeah I saw the first one and it was some of the best skiing I've seen but it felt like 30 minutes of ski footage and 1 hour of pretty drone shots. Is the new one the same deal?

Pretty much the same style as Supervention, yes. But i'd say every part of the movie/production is one step up.
