"man bites dog" (okay so theres a few that are more violent), has anyone seen this

its from 1991 french/belgian movie. where a film crew follows around a sociopath who kills probably 50 people throughout the movie.

its really fucking violent movie, but its not just shock value. it satirizes the media's use/focus on violence.

the main character (the killer) is probably one of my favorite characters that i've seen in movies for a long time. other than his regular killings, the guy is a complete fucker, totally arrogant.

i highly recommend this one, you're not gonna see to many others like it. pretty unique. and don't say anthing about 'natural born killers' because oliver stone is a load of crap.

I like "Natural Born Killers", but it isn't very violent at all....I can swear I saw this video at the store but will check it out for the future. Also don't say Kill Bill or anything ok......

A clockwork orange was pretty brutal, but not very violent. Maybe saving private ryan, i have not seen this movie you are talking about though.

i watched mad max today. fucking australian movie form the late 70's. has to be one of mel gibsons first movies. it was pretty bloody. pretty sick too. makes me want a car with a blower.

 
^you should watch the rest of the series. road warrior and mad max beyond the thunderdome (the best one). some of those shots from mad max where hes chasing those motorcycles down the road are amazing. its mel gibson before he got dramatic, back when he was a fucking bad ass.

It's not just maiming that makes a movie violent... it's the effect. American History X is really effective at bringing that across. Hell, even films with no graphic violence at all can be extremely emotionally violent. See: Glengarry Glen Ross.

Kill Bill , Braveheart, and American history X weren't even that gory (except for edward Norton getting anally raped in prison was pretty funkaay). Sin City was kinda gory, but the gories movie I've ever seen would have to be....damn all I can think of is Sin City.
