Well we've had threads of who we think is the best, but who do you guys think is the most under-rated?

I'll wait to see what I get for responsed untill I tell you guys who I think it is.

^not even close to being underrated

there's probably tons of unknown guitar prodigies that aren't in famous bands and everything, but are unbelievable.

TO THE COMMONS!!!! but not up thos estairs......theyre forbidden fruit. and dont even think of landing a 737 in there on ms blums watch, she'll kick that shit out especially if it doesnt throw away its yogurtt

I know of this guy down at the music store near my house who is truly amazing. His talent is way up there but im sure no one will ever really hear of him even tho he has crazy talent. I wish i remembered his name.

That would be David Gilmour from Pink Floyd. Technically, he's pretty standard, but I would still rather hear his epic solos than anyone else's because his sound so damn good.

 
I would have to go with slash, from g'n'r. And mommy, out of the three most popular instruments, guitar, bass guitar, and drums, the guitar is way harder to play.

 
saturday night at the casino in ganonoque there was this jazz/blues band playing and the guitarist was fucken amazing. he was singing too and wasnt even looking at what he was doing on his guitar and he was going so fucken fast up and down the fret board like it was nothing. so i give it to this anonymous casino jammer guy

David Gilmour is def underated his solos are perfect.

For some up and coming talent if your into some blues look up Scotty Bratcher! He is only 17 and has won numerous comps. Even dueled on stage with Lonnie Mack!! Kid is going to kill it someday!!

id have to say me, i can almost do the chromatic scale and i can play the opening riff to down on the corner. so yea, basically im the most under rated guitarist.

^hahaha well done matt... but yeah i agree also with the other people too on dave g. cause he really is incredible. Listen to Lost for Words or Coming Back to Life -- both from the Division Bell and you'll hear his amazing talent... but i also think stephen stills from CSN is incredible underrated -- check out some of his stuff and it's really awesome

I saw a show on the sickest ferraris in the world and most of them were borrowed, courtesy of Mark Knopfler and his insane ferrari collection. I'd say his skills have had some solid recognition.

Warren Haynes of Gov't Mule and Allman Bros Band along with Derek Trucks also from Allman Bros. They're both effing amazing.
