Most un-legit ski company

to me the least core company would mean the one whitch cares least about skiing and only about profits.

elan is owned and ran by skiiers, not that i would ride them but that does put them leaps and bounds ahead of a lot of companys.

some exampes are; of rossi, dynastar, coreupt and roxy owned by a surf company, also salomon and atomic who are owned by a company that stated off by making cigerettes or even k2, line and volkl who are owned by a kitchen goods company.

the most unlegit compay is a different matter and i have no idea who it might be.

I call bullshit......i have a Burton AK 2L jacket, and pants with gore tex this past winter....FUCKING SHIT in every way shape and form( looked like a jean jacket i guess). Not water proof, not wind proof, not durable, not warm. Serious. It came with a soft shell hoodie that was shit too. All my Oakley shit was a million times better. The gore tex did fuck all. By the end of the season everything was wrecked.

well it appears that they are basically the same skis as dynastar, not designing your own ski is pretty un-legit, which makes the name ironic, hence it is more un-legit, i hope they can prove me wrong

I have to agree with mattykappy this past season i got some ronin(burton) 3l pants that were supposed to be 20,000/20,000 yet they where among the least water proof pants i've ever had. From now on when i by from burton i'm not expecting it to be water proof

Your calling bullshit on personal experience? haha ok. Yours may be different, but I have owned a lot of shit and a lot of goretex, both the normal stuff and the XCR stuff, and the burton jacket is the best one I have ever owned, including a bonfire, oakley, sessions, quicksilver, and north face jacket that I have had these last few years which were all gore-tex, plus other oakleys, spyders, and fate jackets.

Sucks that you got a jacket that didn't work out, but I am completely stoked on mine.

Elan produces some of the most quality skis on the market. Just because their niche is racing and Euro steeze, don't hate. It's hard to be a core ski brand when you sell "narrow-ass snowboards" though.

Nike 6.0 isnt really a ski team. they just give them shoes and i think alotta athletes are on 6.0 not just skiers.

I'm with Bobby B on the UA train. I know a few peeps in their Mountain group, they have people from Burton, Helly H, Redbull, Arcteryx making their stuff. While UA might not be a total ski company the people behind the product makes that area of the company legit. Has any one seen their freeski squad? So legit; Hibbert, Dash, Hudak, Cooley, BBrown himself, the Brothers Dadali.....

remember volant back in the day..when they were in something abut mckonkey haha wow i loved that movie

actually i don't think anyone knows that coreupt is owned by quicksilver.. i think that was just assumed since candide switched to them.. in fact several statements have been made to the contrary.. also nobody knows there skis are altered dynastars.. they just have similar widths.. most park skis are in the same ballpark in terms of measurements.. at least give the product a chance before writing them off as un-legit..

kniessel makes twintips, i remeber seeing them in my searches for twintips two years ago... so im sure theyre still around, but only in european areas probably
