I am sorry for posting this, and for the extremely graphic and disturbing scenes, but i feel this is something that needs to get out and something needs to be done about it. I AM NOT promoting PETA nor am i saying that everybody needs to be a vegetarian, because i sure as hell am not, and im not saying lifestyle rituals such as bullfighting and rodeos need to be stopped, but isnt there a more humain way to get meat, like instant death for cows or even just better living conditions for the animals before they are slaughter??

once again im sorry for posting this, down my karma or hate me if you must but something needs to be done about this.

i only watched up until they threw the dog in the wierd garbage truck thing but FUCK. i wanna fuckin kill those people right now.
 
i didn't watch it cause it'll gross me out but i've done lots of research about slaughter and such. rodeos aren't dangerous, there are very few injuries to animals at rodeos. if theres anything gnarly going on in the vid at a rodeo its probably a mexican rodeo cause they have horse tripping and other sick stuff. but in america the people who own the stock make their livelyhood off of their animals, those animals recieve amazing care.

in america horses (i dunno about other animals) are slaughtered using a steel bolt thing, they get one hit to the brain and they're dead. i'm pretty sure its the same for cows. and its very UN often that the bolt misses its target, in which case yes the animal suffers for a second but then its over. again, if theres anything abusive going on in the video its most likely shot in mexico.

the bolt is not not a painful process. now that horse slaughter in the u.s. has been banned animals are being shipped to mexico for slaughter, where there basically aren't any rules regarding animal safety, not to mention the horses have to be transported all the way to mexico so they are in a trailer that much longer.

again, i didnt watch the movie cause it'll definitely gross me out but i've seen them before and for the most part if theres something nasty going on in it, it was shot at a mexican slaughterhouse.
 
well obviously but i don't know what you can do if it occurs in mexico.

theres one thing you can do, which is vote to repeal the ban on horse slaughter. you can thank peta for encouraging that.
 
ya thats pretty harsh, there is also a music video by Rise against called "ready to fall" that has that stuff but i think even worse. and yes i do know that Rise against is on the verge of being emo i used them for a presentation on animal cruetly thats why i know

I got up until the part where the cow or whatever was getting his nuts cut off and naturally as a male i could not take the pain of even watching that shit anymore!
 
I can't believe they showed branding, horn cutting and castration. That's stupid, and it's just business.

The ride to the slaughter house is worse than being killed at the slaughter house. I've seen a stallion freaking the fuck out because he had never been in a trailer before and he was in there with a foal with no separators. The foal had broken legs. This is why when I need to put any animal out of it's misery I put it down humanely. I also don't overdose them because they basically have a heart attack and then die. I knock them out until they start snoring then I give them the overdose.

 
the dog shit sucks but umm what are we supposed to do with millions of stray dogs, just let them roam the streets.

the slaughter house shit is fucked up and ya they should find a new way to go about killing animals for food.

rodeo is a rodeo get over it.

the exotic animals are like pit bulls and shit you need to show extreme force and that you are number one or hey will over power you in a second and fuck you up.
 
Rodeo's can get bad. Fuck, I used to show horses and I've seen some fucked up shit, and these are even rodeo's these are for calm, cool, collected horses.

I've seen cribbing collars with horse shoes on them so when the horse brings it's head up it will choke them.

I seen metal rods with duct tape handles in tack stalls.

I've also seen ground poles with carpet tacks in them so when the horse hits it it hurts them and they will learn to pick up their feet more.

If you are serious you need to get a life. The stuff in that video was seriously fucked up and it needs to stop, its sure as hell isn't entertainment.
 
I thought the same thing until I thought about when I eat fish. If I'm fishing and I'm gonna take one home I basically smack it in the head and cut it's throat to let it bleed out. Some of this stuff just seems like behind the scenes stuff that normal people don't see and just don't think about. I mean what is the "most" humane way to kill an animal that we all want to eat, it just seems like people are grossed out by the dirty work.

The dog stuff was bad but it sort of sheds light on the marine soldier video that was posted a while back. Whoever those guys were who just threw that dog in the compactor sure didn't care to kill it in any humane way, hell by the looks of that dog just letting it live was inhumane. These people just have the mindset to save an expensive bullet cause they have a perfectly good and free trash compactor(or cliff) right next to them. I know that last statement is tough but life is harsh sometimes.
 
This needs to be deleted immediately... I don't know how anyone can watch that. How can you throw a dog into a garbage truck. After that I could not watch anymore. This is absolutely disgusting

there are way to many strays but that doesnt justify a slow painful death by poisoning are being crushed in a garbage truck.

Watching these videos makes me want to beat the everloving shit out of the people doing it. Or like,for example, the kosher cow thing? I'd suffocate the dude who slit the cow's throat inside the cow's dead body. That's really fucked up actually, but these videos make my blood boil.
 
Florida is the worst, I think anyway. I saw a guy down my road with a panther in the back of his truck. He was poking it with a cattle poker. I wanted to kill him, but someone beat me to it. I also hate it when people leave their dogs in their cars while they are in grocery stores and whatnot.

Man that is one of the most fucked up things i have watched, other then the shit people do to each other.

Im pretty sure that in china i think, somewhere in asia. they do this to dogs and shit cause they think a slower and more painful daeth makes the meat better in some way. i could be wrong though
 
at least that elephant killed/ severley hurt some of theose people, he kicked the one guy who tried to hold the fence , and sure bull fighting is terrible to teh animal, but if you watched they stabbed the back of its head to kill it instantly once it was clear it wasent getting up, or living.
 
dude, im no expert, actual i have no real knowledge of slaughtering cows, closest ive come is fish...and thats nothing alike, but im pretty sure your supposed to let the animal bleed out asap after you kill it so the meat doesnt get contaminated. This videos ares really graphic and horrific, but i find the slaughterhouse stuff to be kind of pointless. Shit how do you think they did it back in the day.
 
Yeah, maybe you are, except this dude was slitting the cow's throat as a way to kill it, not just to let blood out.
 
well in your oriiginal post you said it was in the dead body, honestly i dont care either way, that was the least fucked up thing in that video, only thing i didnt really like was the dog in the garbage truck...i just felt bad for it, but really, shits horrific, but its not that aweful, especially the bull fighting that stuff is a tradition and an art form, but yes in some countries other then spain it does get a little out of hand, still...
 
i honestly couldnt watch this thing. im not and animal rights activist person, but thats just cruel.

People have to eat, theres demand, of course killing animals is gross and disturbing but it happens. They castrate and dehorn for a reason, to keep the herds healthy and consistent. It's a business, and just because you can't stomach the blood and suffering doesn't mean its gunna stop, or that it should. As omnivores we eat meat, and believe me there are worse ways to die. Many of these methods are fast deaths, compared to some other options. If those stray dogs aren't killed they will starve to death slowly. Cyanide and Garbage disposal are surely not very humane, but its cheap and easy, and thats the way they do it.
 
and +++++karma for u for not caring about karma, care about the animals, something has to be done, im going to make a brute force of people to team up (like PETA) to fuck these people up, and have the animals watch.
