Most progression you've seen or done in One Year

Just wondering if you have a friend that caught on fast or you had a sick year when you learned tons of new trick just wondering where you started and where you finished at the end of the year... From a 360 to a switch 5, just anything lets hear it...

At the beginning of last season my friend could do 5s, at the end he could do switch 10s and pretty much is better than any other skier now at Mt. Hood

my friend just started and can do any spin up to 7 with grabs and can do 450's off of rails and stuff. he can do switch spins up to 5 both ways, he's ill

at the begining of last year a friend couldnt land 3s or slide a rail to save his life, now he can pretzel and do most things on rails, cork 7s and almost any grab with any spin switch regular or right side upto 7's

last year i was a fagget snowblader, this year im a twintipper and can do everything i could do on snowblades and more. Thank god i stopped that shit.

uhh well in one season i went from learning how to ski, no rpior snowboarding or anything to corked 5 and backflips mid season. I'm a claimer.

i couldnt even do a 180 last year, and this year so far i can 360, slide rails, and do a backflip. sick shit

i learned to 360 540 and switch 1 and 3 in one day and my friend in skate boarding could air out of a 16 foot vert ramp in his 3rd week of skate boarding

Kaya Turski wins the quicket progression award... The only person that become a pro the same year they start skiing...

probably when I was 3 or 4. Went from being able to stand on skis to being able to ride blue runs. It's hard stuff.

i could only slide rails and boxes and do a 5

now i can 270 rail and boxes, 450 on to boxes(got the rotation but havent stuck it yet) switch up backside and opposite, 270 out both ways and cab 3 and 7 and bio 270 haha still gotta work on that lookin for a 5 or 7 with that

last year i could only do a 540 as my biggest trick... i learned sw 5s, 1080s, and a corked 7s by the end of it...

and last year i could only slide a rail and ive got so many tech stuff on rails...

just ski a whole lot and try new stuff... and if u cant learn a certain trick keep trying but different ways to do it...

^^ wow you guys are super progressive i wonder if half of itd true??

well ive been skiing 5 times and ive gone frome learning how to ski to 180's, and boxes. Im trying a saftey grab and a 360 next time i head out.hopefully it works out well

I went from never riding skis (but was an expert boarder) to doing rails midway through january, haven't got into spinning yet beyond 180's since the small jumpline at keystone blows and I don't wanna experiment on the bigger jumps haha.

kaya turski has to have the fastest progression though, noob to pro in a year.

last year I learned how to ski switch, barely. this year i am practicing threes and i did some 5's by accident. i'm getting really comfortable on rails and boxes of all sorts as well.

its kaya, and not to hate cus she kills it but its easier for a girl to turn pro and she was already a really good rollerblader

this past saturday i went from being able to do a 3 to a 5 and 7 and switch 1 and backside 1 and 3.

in one day.

the beginning of the season all i could do was 180. now i can 720. and im going to work on sw 3s and 5s

I saw some kid 2 years ago.. who went from just sliding rails.. maybe 270 boxes.. in 2 hours learn 270 on/off rails both ways. Switch ups both ways, and 450 on rails.. same with boxes.

I was appaled. My progression is at a snails pace.

not even two months ago my friend started skiing.

he can already slide almost every rail in the park, do 360s and 180s, and last week he started doing 540s in the pipe.

my brother went from doing 180s on rollers to 720s on 20 footers in one weekend. he just never bothered trying before

i went from never skiing before last february, to my first twin tips this season. i can hit long rails, c boxes, ski entire runs switch, 1s and 3s with grabs. i'm loving skiing right now

this is my 1st year. so far i can get 1s, switch 1s and 3s about half of the time. as far as rails go i can do duoble kinks and hit some easier rails and boxes switch. hopin to get 5s by the end of the season

Last year was my first year on twins, Now I can spin 7's and switch 3's. 2 out of rails and stuff. I love skiing and I wouldn't be where i'm at if it wasn't for the people I ride with to push me.

jake covert (a friend of mine who doesnt care for pizza)

1st day skiing- learned to ride

2nd day skiing- landed 3's and rails

my friend could barley slide rails at the start of last year and at the end of the year he was doing rodeo 5's
