I don't know how some people get more than 3000 posts. Is there a trick of making 1000 posts at one topic without typing it that often?

Also, who got the mosts post in here?

I thought Lateralis, i think over 12000 posts.

well, they've been on here since the beginning of time, if you look at their member number or the date they joined. also, i believe mattman has the most with more than 13,000. and there are no tricks to upping your post count, just whoring(repeatedly clicking 'reply' as fast as you can. don't do it

post counts dont count!!?? what the hell are u talking about. it seems that the only way to gain respect on the site is to have more than 1000 post, be a girl, be a pro skier, design a ski, be a camp digger, have been a member before 2000, or make ski movies and own a company.

well look at mattman and lateralis....who knows if theyre any good at skiing? they have no pics or vids of themselves skiing...i think thats kind of shitty that they get respect for having no life and sitting at a computer all day trying to keep there posts up...the people who should get respect are the people who are good and have dedication for the sport of skiing...and not just sitting on a computer all day...i only joined the site a couple months ago because i didnt know it existed....but no one cares tehyre just like oh hes a newbie he sucks he probably doesnt know anything about newschool skiing

1.) a decent amount make threads which have been discussed at least 100 times and dont use the search bar

2.) they suggest changes in the site after being here a month in comparison to two years. they have no say in the site but think they do

yea i did my average its about 6 or 7 a day and like he said i can get that in less than 10 mins but im usually on her for at least 30 mins!

I have said this before, but I think they should get rid of post count all together. People would 'gain their respect' by actually bringing something to the table rather than adding shit like 'right on' or 'word'. There are so many morons on this site that add nothing to any topic or conversation and just vomit all over everything just to up their count. Now, that will never happen, but I think you would see a whole new pool of people that would respond to topics with thoughful, funny, or creative responses. These are the people who may be intimidated by the jerks who will call them a 'newbie'.

And neither will that new Oakley Jacket. The Only thing skiers should be worrieing about is themselves. If you really want to make it big in the ski industry, fuck the trends and ski for yourself. Put your money into training, and supplys for rails and other things. Dont worry about what you look like, because if someone is lookin for a good skier, they will judge on ability, not clothing.
