Most Popular Skiers on Instagram

So I'm curious, which skiers are dominating the insta-game currently? There are plenty killing the edit/photo game in general, but I'm wondering which ones have the most followers.
 
A few that have a lot of followers:

Gus - 410K (few skiing photos. Mostly pictures of himself, his boyfriend, he and his boyfriend, places he travels too, obnoxious captions).

Jon Olsson - 324K (cars, luxury life, skiing, his 10/10 girlfriend, traveling. I definitely recommend checking out Jon's IG; It seems that he is in a different country every week... the life that guy lives is unbelievable.)

Wallisch - 191K (basically all skiing with some travel shots mixed in)

Bobby Brown - 183K (a good amount of skiing shots. Lots of selfies and travel shots).

Henrik - 138K (mostly skiing shots and pictures of Henrik with his homies)

Tanner - 121K (basically all skiing. so many sick POV backcountry clips)

EHEATH_NS - 2213 (the lifestyle of the one and only Evan Heath... need I say more?)

A few recommendations:

Check out @SimonDumont - He has really gotten into the photography game and posts some incredible shots.

Check out @tophaloaf - so much footage on his IG. Its all super unique rail skiing and it blows my mind every time.

Check out @bernierosow - tons of great POV all-mountain shred footage
 
Does Gus still even ski? There's barely any skiing on his Instagram. He seems to be losing interest in skiing.

If taking nice holidays in hawaii is what it takes to win X Games medals then sign me up. Also Gus Kenworthy is now a brand, he's become more than a skier. He's a poster boy for the action sport LGBT+ community. This is just basic development of our sport. Look at other sports, Alana Blanchard has never won a CT event and yet still has 1.6 million followers.

So you can hate on him all you want for exploiting his "gayness" or you should realise that skiing is a very short career and pro's should try to make all the money they can. Would you hate on Tanner if he started getting a larger following in the weed scene?

I think the disappointment is that he isn't posting as much ski content, not that he is posting other things too. If tanner or anyone dropped off their content in a similar way there would be the same disappointment.

But I don't care, it's Instagram and I'd rather see actual videos of people skiing and let them post whatever they like on the gram.

yeah Gus has tapped into a very unique opportunity where he can gram whatever he wants and please sponsors. I can't speak for any pro skier but I would imagine it would be kinda annoying to be only allowed to gram ski pics to please the sponsors. Gus's gram is just a normal gram and he gets paid for it. Good on him
 
Instagram is for cool pictures, not selfies, not daily life shots, not product photos. I don't care if you had a pint after skiing with your buds. I care that I can see a shot of you sending a backy off a 50 footer.

+1 for Simon Dumont. He doesn't post skiing stuff anymore but his photographs are really amazing. It makes me want to go out and explore.

Crazy to see that after his vlog started, Jon is now at 721k followers. Speaking of, that new Rolls is fucking insane.

Why are people so homophobic in this community. I hate Gus as much as the next guy but not because he's gay, because he exploits his gayness. God it's insane to see people that have such hatred because of sexual orientation.

Not pc sorry ab that I can feel the criticism coming.

I'm not a fan of gus at all, just his attitude in general in funny to me. I seriously dead when I saw him on some MTV #sellout #stilldopehesavedthosepuppiesdoe
