Most Painful Thing thats Happened to You

ah man right when I opened this thread I had a bit of a chest pain and then I saw this and cringed so hard.. ouch

Worst pain was't even physical or anything like that, I had an ear infection or swimmers ear one time and I don't know what happened but after I came home from a practice I had the worst shooting-throbbing pain in my inner ear. Felt like my brain was melting it hurt so bad I was straight up yelling into a pillow and didn't know what the fuck was happening. I've had a descent amount of injuries from stitches to staples in my head but nothing has ever hurt that bad. Thinking about it rn makes me feel uncomfortable in my seat haha

I can only imagine what people with cluster headaches or w.e. deal with

Swimmers ear is sooo painful. I had it when I was in Florida as a kid. I had to fly home a week after they diagnosed me. Thank god it started to get better by then or else that could have been a really bad flight haha.

got hit by an ATV while dirt biking. Shattered left kneecap, fractured right heel and broken right ankle. Happened first Friday of the summer. Also had a huge gash in my leg. Didn't hurt much at the time of the accident, but was by far the most painful night of my life.

Compound tibia and fibula fracture (Bone sticking out) in my right leg from biking, was on crutches for 5 months

I had an Anal Fissure my senior year of high school...

I ignored it for the longest time because who the fuck wants to tell someone their anus is burning like 1000 suns.

I literally was not able to sit down without feeling mind numbing pain for two weeks after going to the doctor.

That's shitty!

I've had a minor one from taking too big of a shit after not pooping for like 3 days. I would wipe blood every time and it would start to heal a little bit and then I'd take a shit and tear it back open again. Terribly painful and really makes you dread pooping which is no fun

seriously. Going like 1 foot under would feel like 60ft haha it was so weird because it seemed so random, wasn't an altitude or pressure change, came out of nowhere and faded away back into regular ear infection/swimmers ear after what felt like 3 hours, but was actually like 9 minutes

Once a stall door in my schools bathroom got jammed, The gap on the bottom is to small to climb through, so I decided to climb over to escape from the stall. Half way over I fell and ripped my Ballsack on the little coat hook on the inside of the door. Had to get eight stitches on my ball sack. Hurt like a motherfucker.

Ouch as fuck

These all sound terrible...

But one time I cut the tip of my finger off in my shower door. yep...

I was backpacking in new mexico and rolled my ankle. It swelled to the size of a small orange or apple. Then I had to limp almost two miles on it. I had support under my armpits from my friends but there were no pain killers I stil saw stars every step. Almost passed out a few times. Also probably the hardest thing I've ever done.

Thats stuff of ledgend

Getting surgery to take out a plate in my shoulder. The surgeon forgot a screw and was yanking on the plate to get it off the bone before his assistant pointed out the screw he didn't take out. I was awake through all this (local anaesthetic). The pain that occurred once the anaesthetic wore off was the worst pain I could possibly imagine. Actually like having a white hot piece of metal sewed under my skin. And they only gave me t3's, so thank god I still had oxy's left from the surgery when they put it in.

I had an ear infection so bad that I woke up one morning with blood all over my pillow. It was worse than any of my breaks/tears/dislocations. It hurt so bad they had to give me Hydro to kill the pain.

Lyme disease was also terrible. I spent 7 days with a 104.5 fever, was so weak that my dad had to carry me into the ER and a headache so bad that I thought my head had exploded. All this and the doctors still thought I didn't have Lyme, just the "summertime flu". I was weedwhacking for a living in the most endemic Lyme area in the world, fucking jackasses.

Has anyone mentioned heartbreak? That shit is some real mental pain

Good point, I talked to a girl and snap chatted her a lot (lol) and got really into her. This happened for about 2-3 months then everything stopped and no responses would happen. I was upset for about a week and thoughts ran through my head the day interaction stopped like a mother fucker. I dont think she had a clue I was into her, shes not to bright.

i sent a girl a snapchat of my post lifting gains on accident and she stopped talking to me..

Im still heart broken.

I had foot surgery about five years ago. After I had my stitches removed, I managed to split the incision open, puss oozed out, blood, lots of gunk. That hurt pretty bad because I could feel my foot split open, and it ooze out. That hurt pretty damn bad.

Mine was probably when I got hit in the head with a baseball bat. He was on deck taking swings and I just walked behind him and it hit me on the back swing lol. I was like 10 so I don't remember the whole thing but I do remember having a headache for a solid week

Sounds like a pain in the ass

biking this summer i leaned to forward off a drop and scorpioned onto my face on some nice packed dirt. that hurt like a motherfucker. or, when i got bit by a blackwindow and couldnt walk, that also sucked

Breaking my back. Had excruciating muscle spasms for a year afterwards, lessening over time. Needed to wear a back brace (under my shirt, not some huge contraption) for about a year as well. Acupuncture helped so much.

Dislocating shoulder after months of rehab and strengthening. That "pop" sound and feel gives me nightmares

What did you break in your back?

Physically?

Broken ankle, many sprained ankles or torn SC joint.

Mentally?

Adult break ups (ie - starting to talk about marriage and stuff) suck so much worse than high school break ups.

i feel you on that second one bro :(

The next worse thing was this past soccer season. Beginning of the season my growths in my ankles were pushed together so running was a pain but it got better with some supportive cleats.

Then towards the end I strained my IT band when I cut to turn around and it hurt like a bitch.

Shattered my pelvis, fractured four vertebraes, dislocated both legs amongst other things in one crash skiing. The recovery from that was pretty terrible.

Fucking circumcition without anesthesia. I was going to have my penis cut, and got this middle-eastern surgeon. If I was aware that he was going to cut my penis without anything other than this weak ass numbing cream, I would have protested.I remember not being able to talk for a week afterwards after all the screaming.

Ive had alot of injuries, but oddly enough the worst pain was getting stitches in my big toe after splitting the skin from top to bottom on the inside near the webbing.

That novocaine needle on the inside of my big toe, I nearly passed out. Pretty sure the needle poked my bone multiple times.

Went partially through a floor to ceiling window, got a decent cut on my ankle, didn't even feel it as first. Pulling off the clot pack in the ER didn't feel great, cleaning it wasn't terrible, but the numbing shot was the worst. The cut was a little over 2 inches, but pretty deep and needed 10 stitches. The syringe was huge, the doctor kept poking it because he had to go all the way around, sometimes even getting like under it by coming in at an angle. It seriously hurt, and I have a decent tolerance for pain (tore labrum, x-ray didn't show broken bones, doctor said it wasn't a tear because I would be in more pain, it was a full tear).

Some how that little needle was the worst man. I've torn my labium and dislocated my shoulder, torn ACL, cracked head open, broken my arm and ankle, and still that needle of Novocaine was the worst pain ever.

i jumped off a moving pickup truck and slipped. my knee went straight into a sharp rock and everything above my kneecap got torn off.

Jesus christ.. when?

so fucked up that this is a common place practice for americans

When I was a scrawny 15 year old the horse I was riding reared up, lost his balance, fell over backwards and landed on top of me. Getting crushed really sucked but after a while I lost consciousness, which was a blessing because that amount of pain was just torture. I've never experienced anything else that comes remotely close to how shitty that was. In the seconds it happened I remember assuming I was gonna die, then being surprised to find I was still alive, then the wall of pain hit and I immediately wished I was dead after all ha. I was lucky though and only had minimal permanent damage - my right leg and hip still give me some trouble from that accident but it definitely could've been worse.

Seriously, so happy my parents had me clipped early. This guy in my company got circumcised and obviously I wanted to see what a freshly cut dick looked like. Holy shit it was horrible. Just a swollen, black and blue mess. He could barely walk, that must've been horrible.

ear infection by a long way, perhaps because you don't really have any adrenaline and it lasts ages

Genital mutilation isn't chyll at all. I think it's a barbaric practice. No way in hell would I put a child thru that.

and our society likes to pretend they know for sure that that doesn't leave a permanent mental scar because we can't remember it now... It is definitely pointless and may be traumatizing.
