Most Painful Thing thats Happened to You

whats the most painful thing that you've experienced experienced in the past , weather its from skiing or something else?

Tonsillectomy a couple years ago. I may sound like a lil bitch, but it hurts like a motherfucker when you are dry heaving and the scabs on the back of your throat reopen.

I shit after being constipated for two weeks, it felt like i was shitting a knife. Easily one of my most painful experiences.

Ive had alot of injuries, but oddly enough the worst pain was getting stitches in my big toe after splitting the skin from top to bottom on the inside near the webbing.

That novocaine needle on the inside of my big toe, I nearly passed out. Pretty sure the needle poked my bone multiple times.

I've taken a lot of falls that would seem more painful but honestly the worst was when I took off a little side kicker at keystone really backseat and landed flat in the worst position for shinbang. I could barely ski afterwards and my shins hurt too much to even drive home.

I was on morphine, and still this is the most painful screaming pain I have ever had

tib fib fracture, so when you lift my leg up it bends.

now have 7 people fondiling your leg at once for over 2 minutes

probably cracking my head open and having a needle about 12 inches long poked into my head a too many times to numb it up. never again.

I went through the same thing after being on heavy pain killers for knee surgery. it was like trying to pass a brick

I was dickered and my friends told to jump off a dock with them. Nobody told me the water was only 3 feet deep so I went full pencil right to the bottom ended up landing on something sharp that went under the skin of my heel. Everybody was too drunk to drive to the hospital so I ended up stitchless. I couldn't walk for a week and had to regrow most of the skin on my heel

One of my really early kid memories is getting a god damn tube stuck up my urethra for some kinda test, god fucking dammit that shit hurt, doctors aint going nowhere near my dick again unless I am drugged senseless

Slammed a door on my finger. Except, I had my finger right where the latch was so the latch slid over my finger as the door was closing, and when the door bounced off my finger the latch dug into the skin and tore a good bit. I thought I was going to puke multiple times over the next half hour from the pain

I was playing baseball about 3-4 years ago now, i was at bat and crowding the plate without knowing. Swung at the pitch and the ball completely smashed my thumb between the bat and the ball. My whole globe was pooled up in blood, my nail ripped off, and it was about 35 degrees, so I was shivering and ready to pass out. This sounds weak to everybody else's but whatevs.

So a similar thing happened to a camper when I was a camp counselor. My brother was pulling the door shut as the kid was grabbing it to open, he pulled it shut and the kids finger split open, needed like 15 stitches. He kept screaming about how he wouldn't be able to bowl in a tournament that weekend.

Was that you?

Got accepted into an anthropology internship at the Field Museum that would have dig experience included, and had an injury that prevented me from doing it. That was painful because I k ew I was good enough, but had a physical limitation.

Injury wise, the first time I dislocated my shoulder was pretty painful.

Ahh man I can feel that pain.

My roomate once did that between his third and second toe. He was running down our hallway and kicked a loose road sign we had on the ground, almost cut his toe clean off it it wasnt for the bone.

I ended up spending 10 hours in the hospital with him, was with him when he was getting x rays and even handed the doctor tools to do the surgery (outrageous sherbrooke hospitals). Puddles is a tough dude and I have never seen a man in as much of pain as he was in during that ordeal.

I stepped on a metal rake/pitchfork when I was gardening with my mom when I was like five. Went through my shoe and into my foot. I screamed so loud that these three joggers that ran past like 10 minutes earlier heard me and sprinted back.

I went to the E.R. and had this weird soft cast thing on my foot for like 3 weeks.

chlamydia and gonorrhea test. Shove an extra long Q-Tip up your pee hole. That shits sucked. That's the price you pay at UCSB.

Getting a filling and my dentist didn't put enough numbing stuff in my gums and wow the lower part of my tooth was going crazy. Fuck dentists

when you fuck up a nerve in your back and it sends electric shocks through your body that makes you tense up and sweat in agonizing pain every 30 seconds, for 2 weeks straight.... yeah good luck sleeping or doing anything at all.

I cut my leg down to the bone right below my knee on a rock. The cut was probably 4 inches wide by 2 inches high and serious enough that I didn't feel anything since my leg was in shock, but in the hospital like an hour later I regained feeling as they gave me 8 shots of lidocaine directly into the open wound. Then it wore off as they were stitching me up so I needed 3 more

I also had to get fluid drawn from the center of my knee so the doctor shoved a thick needle right in the side of my knee and i felt it go all the way into behind my kneecap. Wasn't the worst acute pain I've felt but it was this horrible sickening dull pain that made me almost puke. Turns out it was a completely unnecessary procedure too!

When I was in 7th grade, I was riding my bike down a hill at like 20 mph and my front brake locked completely. Flew forward off my bike like 6 feet and nailed my head. I was wearing a helmet thank god but I was in so much pain and had ringing in my ears for the next couple of hours. Got home and went to the ER with my dad. Still the worst concussion I've ever had.

Crashed and had a dirtbike land on me. 4 broken ribs, 3 broken vertebrae, punctured/collapsed/bruised lung, bruised liver and lacerated kidney.

Dropped like 20ish feet to ice/rocks on opening day last year...only a broken wrist surprisingly. Tons of bruises though, and I was super sore for the next week.

Skied down whistler from the bottom of peak chair with a broken leg.

Ran 5 miles on a broken foot, in 40:45, and the mental pain of that 45 sec.

Messing up a disk/ nerve in my back after getting kicked in the back with a ski boot at Park City, had to get a wheelchair for the airport...

Dang there are some gnarly ones in here. I backslapped once and got the marker up the anus. Bleeding from your bung hole sucks.

i was jumping down some stairs with my friend like dingus went too big and sprained my ankle pretty badly it hurt like a mother fucker to walk for the next week my one i sprained grew to about double the size of my other ankle

recovery from shoulder surgery (bankart repair) or dislocating the shoulder for the first time after surgery.

skiing down after dislocating my knee and blowing acl & mcl.

One time in high school my friend did that prank to me where you pull out someone's chair from under them right as they're about to sit on it. Doesn't sound that serious but the mother fucker timed it perfectly and I dropped to the floor right on my tailbone, it hurt like a bitch. I remember it hurt for at least a week after.

Swallowed a straight pin when i was around a year old, don't exactly remember the pain but they had to use a vacuum tube to get it out, it was probably pretty painful. From what i can remember, compound fracture of my ulna during a hockey game was easily the worst.

Dislocated my hip in gymnastics. It took 4 people yanking on my leg to get it back it. Dislocating it was painful, but getting it put back in sucked so much worse.

Also, fracturing my back. I missed my hands doing a back handspring on beam and scorpioned. So painful, went into shock when I was in the ambulance.

I bruised my heel from knuckling. Broken bones and torn ligaments are for suckers... Has anyone mentioned heartbreak? That shit is some real mental pain

Good point, I talked to a girl and snap chatted her a lot (lol) and got really into her. This happened for about 2-3 months then everything stopped and no responses would happen. I was upset for about a week and thoughts ran through my head the day interaction stopped like a mother fucker. I dont think she had a clue I was into her, shes not to bright.

Either getting my first tattoo on my ribs, which was a solid 9.5 for two hours.

Or.

I unknowingly tore my lateral meniscus, and strained/sprained my MCL, LCL, and quad. When I woke up in the morning I went to get out of bed and collapsed when I tried to put weight on my right leg. I went to the ER and they told me to stabilize it for the weekend until Sports Med at the Mayo Clinic was open. It stiffened up all weekend from not moving it at all.

I think the worst pain I experienced from that whole situation was trying to get in the shower after that weekend. I had to lift my leg a foot and a half and I almost passed out from the pain.

Breaking my collar bone was the second most painful thing that has happened to me but the first was when I tried to flat 5 and took it off the biggest jump at my mountain (about 65 ft), and I didn't drop my left shoulder leading me to do something funky. I landed really far back seat and bone bruised both my shins. I couldn't walk or ski for the next few weeks. According to the doctor I was really close to breaking both my legs.

Probably tearing some random muscle in my shoulder honestly. I've done tons of things that have hurt like a bitch, but the nature of the injury was that I had to keep practicing while it was torn. Constant strain from football left me in pretty bad shape.

Me and my friend had built a rail over the summer and we were so stoked that we were hitting it with bare feet, water, and soap. I was comin in hot for the blind 2 and somehow I landed right on my tail bone, I could barely walk and let alone sit down. I couldn't do but drops on the tramp for months after that

Also I was going for the dub misty on the tramp that summer and i landed on my chest right on the metal circle around it from about 10-15 feet in the air

ah man right when I opened this thread I had a bit of a chest pain and then I saw this and cringed so hard.. ouch

Worst pain was't even physical or anything like that, I had an ear infection or swimmers ear one time and I don't know what happened but after I came home from a practice I had the worst shooting-throbbing pain in my inner ear. Felt like my brain was melting it hurt so bad I was straight up yelling into a pillow and didn't know what the fuck was happening. I've had a descent amount of injuries from stitches to staples in my head but nothing has ever hurt that bad. Thinking about it rn makes me feel uncomfortable in my seat haha

I can only imagine what people with cluster headaches or w.e. deal with
