Most over played trick

so true. A lot of kids can do mistys too, but few can do them stylie...at least from what I've seen. We need some more switch mistys and rodeos and stuff, freshen up the old tricks with the ol' backwards dealio.

yeah, we need some more nice ol' misty 5,7,9 with steeziness attached, not just the fucking ugly ass un grabbed shitty ones.

sw rodeos and sw misties are where its at!! but i can't really do either of those. sw misty scars the hell out of me, but i really wish i could do it. sw rodeo is just like over corking a sw cork 5.

can we retire the handdrag and 450s yet? im tired of seeing edits on this site filled with people jumping around on an 8ft rail..

are you kidding me?!?!?!? SWITCH 1080's!!

and most overplayed statement by NSers: man you gotta spin both ways...

if it ain't steezy, i don't wanna see shit!

least played trick ever=

cork 180's, sw cork 3's, flips off cliffs, and probably switch misty's/bio's and anything else i missed

saying tricks are played is getting played. If a trick is fun or hard or whatever just do what you want to do. You can't not do pretzels anymore its the sickest rail trick and there are all sorts of variations. Honestly, is everyone just supposed to spin the same direction on a rail the whole time or do a tail press? NO fuck that combine it all thats what pretzels are. And handdrags are maaad fun, might as well learn um and take um to the backcountry so spice things up. AND SURE what if everyone is doing kangaroo flips? Its obviously a staple in competitions now so if you wanna win you might as well learn um anyway whether or not everyone can do them or they look good. Do what ya need to do.

People worry too much about what's "played" and what's "so hot right now". Maybee people should try doing what they want to do and then individual's styles will become unique

Looks like I wasn't done thinking about that...

Skiing is an art, it is a form of self expression. Skiing is my main outlet in life, now that ski season is pretty much over I can't really say I've felt truly happy since it ended.

When you worry about what's played or whats cool, what you should be doing it takes the self expression out of it and, for me at least, kills the "soul" in "soul skier"

Now I realise that skiing isn't nearly as important to most people as it is in my life but maybee if you look at it that way you'll learn to love skiing even more than you do now

^ True dat. I agree with Capurnicus in that I've seen a lot of hand drags this season, along with rodeos, front flips, etc. I think though, that the people doing these tricks are just at that stage of their progression. It's not like Simon and Sammy are making videos of just rodeos. I know that when I learn something new, I like to highlight it and put it up on ns for positive feedback, even if there are 4 or 5 other videos with the same tricks on the front page.

To play the game though, I think some UNDERPLAYED tricks are underflips/overflips. I don't see anyone but occasionally Peter do those now.

To qualify this, I am all for people doing what they want to. It is all about how it feels and what you get out of it, and if doing the same thing as everyone else does that for you, that's fine. Go for it.

Hell, I've been throwing my share of rodeo 5's lately, and while many others do them much better, it doesn't stop me because they are fun and feel rad.

holy crap i cant believe you just said that! i was just gonna post that when i got home! overflips and underflips are crazy steezy, im so suprised we dont see more of them. hooray for underplayed tricks!

backflip, just kidding. its probably been done more than anyother trick (i guess threes maybe more) but i dont think they can ever get old. Gapers just go nuts when you do backflips.

i gotta say pretzels but there are wayyy to many shots of people on that red flat down rail at park city. When i was there i saw some crazy shit though like Tom Wallisch on that red rail he did the flat then 630 over the down

Spinning and/or flipping are pretty played, I see those in almost every edit I watch. What the fuck guys, its called progression, ever heard of it? FUCK

ok ya well when you siad "bigger spin" I thought you meant significantly bigger not an extra 180 or 360. I nice tail 5 is easier than any 1080 or1260 though. Not saying I'd rather be watching the ugly 10 over the sick 5 it would just be harder which is what you were saing
