My younger years? Well, I'm not sure what your definition of 'younger years' is, but mine were a while ago. I'd say Warren Miller. He was the first non-racing or XC I'd heard of and seen the movies of, so I'd say him for most memorable.

Jean Luc Brossard. Back in the day I remember seeing him at St-Sau doing these crazy tricks for the time. Cosaks and other shit too. Backs, Fronts, big spins. This was back in 94 or 95 so that was really cool to see

 
first pros id ever seen were in propaganda. so, vinnie, julien, douglas, and philou were prob my most memorable pros

i would say that glen, mike douglass,.. but for me he was jon olsson. I know that he isn't a pioneer but in Spain the first time that I saw newschoold was thanks to eurosport and i was astonished of the level difference that existed in those competitions among Jon (switch trick) and the other guys but i don't remember the importance of the competition

I used to think JP was the fuckin man, I wanted to be as good as he was, I also thought he owned Auclair gloves. I've figured out since then that he doesn't own it, but he's still an awesome skier.

dominique perret was god to me when i was 11 i remember 1st meating him in verbier, also in moguls it was jesper ronenback,moesley and adrian costa(best mogul steeze ever) and from the old old school i used to watch willy bonger movie all the time ie. john evves ,john Falkner (aussie) and all those boys but the best movie of all time was blizzard of ahhs no ski movie even comes close to that, exept royalty those 2 movies are the only good ski movies of all time
