Most fun 2 ski quiver. Fat park ski, and buttery pow ski.

I'm badly in need of some new skis this year, last year i got a 108 waist more chargey ski with shifts for touring its also great in the resort, but im trying to not take them in the park, and they're pretty directional, so trying to keep them more specific to touring, or for resort days where i dont want to fuck around as much :(

Im 5'11 163 lbs

anyway for ski #1 I like fatter park skis, around 100-105 i think is my sweet spot, could go wider, probably dont want to go less. a lot of my park days are 50/50 park and all mountain jibbin. I like to pop off, butter and slash everything, charge choppy stuff, dont care about holding an edge on groomers.

For ski #2 Basically the same as ski #1, but for powder, I like skis on the fatter side, so you're able to surf around on the surface a bit more, typically have liked skis that are flat or feel flat underfoot with a decent amount of rocker that starts a bit closer to the binding. With big rocker I dont mind something a little stiffer, but still dont want a 2x4, i like to be able to flex the ski a bit even in powder. I'll be doing a pretty big variety of skiing on them, sketchy steeps, drops, trees, mellow open slopes, lots of leftover choppy powder, and a decent amount of park, cause i like park on powder skis. only thing i wont see much of is super high speed wide open charging, some, but not enough for it to be a factor in choosing skis.

Im really liking the Jeffrey 108, I'd consider doing it in the custom softer layup since it'd still probably be decently stiff and chargey. seems like id like it in the park and would make for a sweet all mountain fun ski. its just a bit pricey for a park focused ski, especially if i went custom.

for the powder ski, the jeffrey 116 actually seems sick, it'd be weird owning two jeffrey's i guess. its not quite as wide as i would normally like, but its got a good amount of rocker, and everything else about it seems spot on.

the catamarans seem like a good option too, they're the right width and rocker, and definitely seem jibby enough.

Also looking at the yle118, might not have quite as much rocker as i'd normally like, but otherwise seems like it could be sick.

Any thoughts??

If you want a super playful ski go with the line blends but for a more all around ski go with the armada arv 106

I can get behind that and rock a Friend as the pow ski.

My personal quiver is Vacation for park/everyday and Friend for pow days - works wonders

yes sir, I second this. I would go with some factions or the pow ski.
