No, don't press charges just yet, see if you can get them to rebuild and repay you for everything, that way you will have your cabin back, and won't get people fucked over (even though they deserve to be.) If they don't agree, then press charges.

Have you reported it at all? Probably a good idea to do that. It might be hard to come back and press charges if the issue becomes 2-3 weeks old. I'm not sure... Sorry to hear that.

yea we put in a report and the arson detectives have come to check things out a couple of times. but there's no evidence to accuse anyone. i just wish someone would step forward and take the blame so we could deal with this outside of court. but hey if they don't want to be civil, they don't have to be.
