this is how it works. the show was made in japan, but it was real and serious. TNN or Spike tv or whatever took the show, and dubbed the announcers so that it would be funny.

It is on TNN on Saturdays from 9-10 pm EST, and Sundays from 8-9 pm EST (a repeat of Saturday's shows). At least that's what the schedule has been...with the Spike TV thing or whatever I don't know if they'll change it.

i give those wacko japanese contestants props for doing that crazy stuff with no (or little) prize. in north america they would have to have a million dollar prize for them to get any turnout. fuck, i'd volunteer in a second to be on that show. imagine how fun it would be. and you would get to embarass the hell outta yourself.
