Most Expensive Ugliest and Best Looking Cheapest Cars?

Definitely best looking car in that range. Totally love it, gonna be my lives aim. :/

I got a long way to go.

Well, for between 30-50k you can find a Maserati. Mainly Quattroporte, GranSport, or Cambiocorsa models. I've seen models ranging from 2005-2008 in the 30k range. I personally love the look of the 2006 or 2007 Quattro, but if you'll only go with a 2 door I like the GranSport. However this is only for aesthetics. In terms of function, Maserati's are horrendous for breaking down, or so I've heard.

Some of you may think Maserati's are hideous, but for some reason I've always liked em. They've got curb appeal(kid drives a 2013 Gran Turismo around town and its fucking amazing) PLUS the name recognition. Most people know Maserati, and just take it to be an expensive car.

a lotus is more of a man car than pretty much any sports car on the market right now. just pure raw focused performance, no computer controlled AWD system or active yaw control BS to compensate for your lack of skill. if you even think of your image when buying that car you're missing the point. buy a truck or a mustang if you want a "man car" to compensate for your tiny dick.

woah. When I graduate I should get a 06-07 quattro....(/S) I think you honestly may have the best answer in this thread. Lotus doesnt have the luxury appeal that a Maserati has imo and is no where near as classy. I do love them tho

I checked ebay and you were right about those prices. I thought a quattro (06-07) would be around $67k.

My other choice would be a Cayman. Cheaper then a 911, 100x better then a boxer, looks pretty damn good. You can find one a couple years old for $28-35K

It does look a lot better in comparison to it's older brothers, but I still don't like vett's, or stangs. Or any muscle car really.

We forgot about kit cars

anyone know how much a finished one of those go for?

didnt think kit cars would count but YES so many fiero kit cars that people totally think are like, supercars haha

weird ass fiero/alfa 8c

alfaromeo8c.jpg

non-car people would go googly over it, while car people can say in one millisecond that its not a real alfa

and MR2 kit cars too, like this gumpert apollo (which is actually a toyota obviously)

theres a dude in my town who drives a bright yellow lamborghini kit car, and it drives me crazy cuz he gets so much attention and the thing is WAY too small to be a lambo

unfortunately i dont give a single fuck about handling when i cant get out of the muddy parking lot at killy or im stuck on the dirt road im supposed to be "handling" so i think im going say they should have made it 4 wheel drive considering 75% of their customers are vermonters or the like

That thing would do fine getting out of a muddy parking lot or driving down a dirt road. Why does everyone think AWD is like a requirement to drive on anything other than dry paved road? Anyway, I doubt they were thinking of a practical ski car when they decided on the BRZ, it's a well balanced rwd sports car , not an outback alternative.

False.

The only fact that I stated about the car is that it is RWD. That is true.

I said that my opinion is that it would be more fun AWD. Winter? Who wants a light-er, Rwd car in the winter?

most expensive ugliest award goes to the bentley continentalbest looking cheap for performance: e60 m5 or e92 m3 used

for aesthetics: saab 900 spg

Then get a wrx or ANY OTHER SUBARU, the BRZ is a precision handling oriented car, something better achieved with RWD. What dont you get

if your goal is just to appear to have a more expensive car than you actually do get a couple years old 3 series. Any car guy would know the base model isnt that expensive, but people who dont really know much about cars would just group it together with all other bmw's and presume it is expensive

Porsche 911. Not Exactly cheap but they all look relatively the same so an older used model still looks just as sensual as a newer model.

you get older 911's for under 30, not affordable for the average nser, but not out of reach for the average middle aged guy

Got a 1998 e46, 318i... all my mates know it's shit, underpowered, electrics are shit, unreliable and as f@ck...

But bitches dig it, thinks it's a new luxury car... Cost me like 5 grand

God you are a degenerate. NEWS FLASH not all Subarus are meant to be rally crossed. They made this car for people who want a fun track/DD car not to taken up to the mountains in, buy a lesbo wagon if you wanna do that. That is why it has 2 doors and a TINY back seat if you can even call it a back seat. LOL @ 75% vermonters, you definitely were dropped on your head as a child.

I don't care how fast it goes, it is disgusting. Looks like it got stung by a bee and is all swollen and shit.

I agree with the BRZ on looking really sick while being relatively cheap, although the performance is definitely reflected in the price.

Okay let's just assume for a second that I want a car sort of like the BRZ, but would need it to be AWD to handle crappy weather because I intend to drive it year-round in a Canadian winter climate.

Does such a vehicle exist?

Basically looks like a riced out 4 door sedan. Sure, it's fun, but there's nothing else nice about it.

Basically I'm talking about an attractive looking sports car, with a good cabin experience, that can deal with snow and ice.

The only thing I can think of is a Quattro audi TT and I'm not a big fan of the TT.

you really dont need AWD to drive in snow. sure it helps, but most sporty, track oriented cars will be RWD. Sporty AWD cars though? I can think of obviously the sti and lancer evo, bmw xDrive series, audi quattros, infinity G37x? or a volvo c30? haha

but for the most part, small sporty coupes are not designed with snow in mind. at all.

dub post but a nissan gt-r is AWD i think. thatd be a good one but super pricey compared to a brz

yeah im not a fan of wrx's either, look bad, drive bad, and are built poorly. theres the mini countryman s all-4 and paceman. suzuki kizashi s or suzuki sx4, mazda cx-5 (not really a sporty CAR, but i drove one and was extremely impressed with how well it handles, most sedans would struggle to keep up with that thing in the corners, its a much better alternative to an outback or forrester IMO.

mercedes CLA, audi A3, golf r32 or golf r. Lancer Evolution, bmw 335xi.

i dunno, theres a lot of "sporty" awd cars, but not much that would be a BRZ competitor. the BRZ is pretty niche even within RWD sports cars. the closest thing i can think of would probably be the first gen R32, i test drove one in the dry and it was insanely fun zipping around town really fast, not sure how good the AWD system is though. Lancer evolution, its basically what STI's wish they could be. and probably a TT, and at least the newer TT's look cool.

i know a guy that drives an early 90's porsche C4 year round, ive ridden with him up skiing and the thing kills it in the snow. porsche's are damn reliable too if you actually drive them, not let them sit for months like most owners.

honestly though, nothing beats RWD for pure driving, handling fun. and a RWD car with snow tires will outperform a AWD car on all seasons. i drove a RWD car for a couple years, then an AWD car, now RWD again, and honestly, RWD is absolutely fine for the kind of shit you encounter, even living in a mountain town, only time i got stuck was in giant, multiple feet snow storms, when high clearance SUV's were the only cars able to make it out before the plows. studded nokains on a RWD car is a fucking blast in snow.

you can buy used Maserati's for dirt cheap

People see them and act like they are super special and crazy expensive(which they are new) when really you just don't see them because only fools buy them. A toyota prius holds it value better.

I have to say out of this whole thread, I am in love with this car. If i wanted to buy that 5-10 years from now how much are we talking?
