Most embarrassing thing you've ever done skiing...

sThis one time i was doing butters and little 180's and 360's on this flat little part of the trail while i was buttering i was skiing switch and i did the splits and hit my head so i was like out of it and i got up and fell straight back down.

Also i was doing this 180 off of a fairly big jump and i missed my grab about 90 degrees so i was waving my arms around and i hit the landing and just ragdoll and hit my head so i get up and get my skis. so i was doing butters to regain some confidence and fall and hit my head again right in front of this big group
 
so yesterday at my little mountain, they were having a race and during the intermition, they let the public race so my and my snowboarder friend go to race while all the racers and their parents are on the side watching. so my buddy and i decide that i will race switch and he will too and we'll see who wins. so im standing there thinking im the shit and how much cooler i am than all those gay racers, and so when i come out of the gate i pop to switch and make it around like two gates, and by this time im hauling ass, and i couldnt make it around the third gate and one of my skis went into the gate and it flipped me around and took my ski off and i ended up ragdolling down the race hill in front of everybody...then i had to hike up and get my ski, but it was funny i guess
 
i was in the woods outback keystone today sparkin a j. and when i was done i came out and there was no one there. just ski patrol as i came down and hes like where did u come from? i said the trees, and he asked if i heard him yell. i said no, and he said well you almost got stuck cuz the last chair was at 4, so i flew down the hill all the patrol like wtf is this kid still doin here. got on the chair at 415. i almost got stuck at the bottom of the outback cuz i didnt know what time it was. i felt hella embrassed
 
goin switch down this groomed blue run, then i did a corked zero off a death cookie to doom RIGHT underneath the chairlift and in front of all my friends waiting at the bottom

Bombing down a green run switch, making massive arrogant turns under the chairlift between the support poles, pretty much thinking I was the shit: Then I caught an edge and yardsale'd. Talk about embarrassing.
 
After a decent few hours in the park, people started to watch me, and as I was going down the hill to hit a 65' gap, while skating my fucking skis crossed and I fell flat on my face. God dammit that sucked.
 
The other week I was bored skiing towards the lift on the easy slope. So I decided to have a spin off with my little brother. So as I was spinning on flat ground, just continuously reverting, I caught an edge after like 4 rotations and was just so dizzy I went straight into the ground. Pretty bad, it actually hurt too.
 
my best is somehow managing to dislocate my knee right under the lift without actually stacking it. i was just lying in the snow in pain. lots of pain
 
Last year one of my friends decided to try a C rail for the first time, fell about halfway through and nutted himself. He sat there lying in the fetal position for a good five minutes, finally I decided to take another run and he was still there curled up when I got back haha... Fortunately it was late in the day, I don't think too many other people saw him.
 
when i was learning to carve switch i had a hard time looking over both shoulders so when ever i turned to the right i was skiing blind well i started to get cocky and wanted to get goin faster on this shitty little black with rollers when i turned and had the blind spot my friend stop to see where i was hit him at full tilt right and the knees he didn't even budge saw it comming but i flew skis cmae off poles gone so i had to swallow my shame walking back up the run to go get my shit while everyone on the chair pointed and laughed
 
i was dropping in switch in this rail jam and my hood blew up into my face and i was blinded and missed the lip and hit the flag instead
 
It was early season so I had my shitty rock skis with the dins all messed up on them. We were coming down one of the bottom runs by the lift and my friend stopped at the end and I thought it would be funny to throw an edge and spray him with snow. Unfortunately by bindings sucked so my ski ripped off and I ended up flying into my friend at almost full speed. I shoulder checked him and we both went sailing past the lift line in front of everyone.
 
oh, how could i forget, haha last year i was doing gates switch at my hill, right under the chairlift and all, and i clipped a gate and had a total yard sale haha
 
falling in the kiddie parks on 12ft wide rails right under the chair lift are always fun
 
I always fall when I'm at the bottom of the hill when going slow or inline. I lose my balance when I dont concentate at all.
 
One time a while back i was skiing at Stratton with my friend and our car was parked in the Sunbowl Lot so we decided to race down Church-hill downs, a long flat run that goes on forever. My friend is a muscular kid, and he skates really fast and always beats me so I was hauling ass. I swerved around this one old lady and looked back to see if I could see him and ran into a rock. I then proceded to double eject, flip over the rock, and dive headfirst into a tree. I was on the ground until ski patrol came. I broke my ski. It sucked

and 180 a roller so im skiing switch hauling ass go to 180 back and catch an edge right under the chairlift and ate shit slid a long ass way...

didnt hurt too bad but it sucks when your trying to have fun and people think your "showing off" and eat shit while doing it haha
 
haha yeah i was there for that, funny shit. What made it even funnier was that it was you're first day there caus you came late to camp and the coaches were all saying "no don't do that, you're not ready, try it tomorrow when you're more warmed up, you'll fall, etc..." then you go and decide to stick it in their faces by getting it and you eat shit, soooo fucking funny.
 
Oh yeah man, this one time, I was riding, and I fell, and there were these people and I felt dumb.
 
ohhh i've got one

one time, when i was going to win the olympics for boardercross, i decided to do a method and fell and lost the olympics and now everyone hates me.
 
I was skiing at Killington Devils Fiddle and face planted and my skis went everywhere and i got so pissed off. It was pretty funny.
 
i was doing 3s on flat ground (not butter 3s, just 3s) and i saw this dude i know on the lift. so i go "HEY JOHNNY!! CHECK this out!!" naturally, i catch my edge and die. humiliation not only from little johnny, but from everyone else on the lift. i skied away, holding my head in shame, only to hit a fallen child.
 
i was skiing a relatively flat trail, and cut over a little jump to ski next to this girl, and there was a pole on the ground and one ski got caught and it re-directed one ski to wear it was opposite of a pizza, and i spread eagled into a tree right before the jib i was going to use to get to the other side of this trail to this girl... it hurt bad.
 
while teaching i was goin switch to watch the little dumbshits do their pizza turns and then totally ran into a snowboarder who was on his ass in the middle of the hill teaching his gf to snowboard, i ended up basically sitting inbetween his legs with my face like inches from his.
 
i dont think its to embarrassing, but i was at sugarbush this past weekend and alot of the lifts are really low, especially the park this so i was jumping off all over to get to some of the glades and stuff, but i jumped off the park lift right onto the top of the pipe and a mom came up and flipped on me telling me i was setting a bad example for her kids...i was like uhhh 14 y/o in xxl outerwear thinking their thug isnt a bad example, then i looked at myself and realized i wasnt one to speak
 
last week i was skiing down a green run and was spinning around after 2 spins i tripped over my pole cut open my chin and had to get stitches
 
One time I was goin for a 270 on to an S box and i caught my edge on the box. I managed to slide the entire box on my ass, and come off the end of it, pretty impressive
 
I was up at crystal mountain and there was quite a few people in the park. One of the employees was walking around taking pictures for the website I think. So I go up to slide a flat rail and he walks up to it and squats down to get a picture of me hitting it. As soon as I hit the rail I slide out and eat shit right as he is taking pictures...it was pretty embarassing
 
I like this one it's the best

But for my embarassing moment - one time I decided to hit a gap that was just built, it was two mounds of snow on a flat. I completley underestimated it and landed going uphill on the second mound, both skis poped off and i went sailing over the landing and landed on my face
 
this one time it was later on in the day and we were riding up the quad and the peop;e right behind us made the lift stop so our skis were on this big bank of snow so we were digging our tips in and flinging the snow at these tourists so i dug both my skis in when the lift started the didnt come out i did a faceplant into the snow and i got a ski up the ass from the people behind us
 
neh.... this onew time i 180'ed a jump and then while revertingi made it about 45 degrees around caught an edge and hit my head on the take off of the next jump
 
last spring at the bottom of chair 6 in mammoth, the plastic fenceing they put up at the bottom of the park was sagging really low and everybody was poping over it. so I decided to go for it and popped way to early, my tips went straight into the fence and I did a front flip over it and completly yard saled. This all occured right under the lift and infront of the lift line and sun deck where everybody was eating lunch, I got a nice round of applause from everybody.
 
well i was bored... and night skiing alone... so i started goin switch and tried to piss at the same time.... I THOUGHT i was the only one on the run... but there was a family with a little 5 year old girl who i happened to pass... akward....
 
i saw these two 18 y/o girls get ran over by the chairlift, and one of them hit there head on the bottom of the seat.
