I don't have a lot of experience with brands outside of salomon, rossignol, and volkl, but I've had one pair of volkls that have been absolutly bomb-proof. I've had them for 3 years and they have yet to see a drop of ptex, to give you an idea.

Simply put: Head.

My first generation Scratch lasted through three years of having the shit kicked out of them, until they snapped. I would say Volkl, as they have a good reputation for well built skis, and Head, because they use so much resin and reinforcement.

i had a pair of 04 05 rossi scratch pros and on the fifth time up i snapped them so i dunno im still new

K2... my bro has had his pe's for like 3 years now and he skis just as hard if not harder than me and ive gone through 3 pairs of skis now

ya head skis are awsome k2 not so much
