Title says it all. Once a body was found in the spring thaw, turns out it was a dude who went in to the BC alone and fell into a tree well head first.

As well as that, it was only a week ago that I was talking to a seemingly hot girl on the chair. Long story short, she removed her goggles and I cried. Beware the goggle hot effect.

Also I heard that jet fuel can't melt steel beams #spooky

this holy fuck. a few years ago at coc some snowboarder missed the airbag while i was waiting in line to hit it and it was the most fucked thing. bleeding out his eye sockets and shit, had to get heli'd off the glacier.
 
there was a video a while ago of a snowboarder getting impaled by a rail doing a disastr or something. his skin was like sticking out of the end of the tube as if it was a cookie cutter, it was brutal.

Yes, saw this happen. They had a tail tap feature on top of a spine going across the hill. I've seen people get jacked on these types of features, when they don't know what it is. This guy hit it with speed of a medium to large step down. He dropped about 25 to 30 feet to flat. He was wrecked and seizing like crazy. I have no clue whether he survived, but I doubt it.
 
At Mount Snow on Carinthia on the new Farm trail, some snowboarder came up and tried to stall on the top, then he caught an edge, smashed his face on the coping and broke his jaw and knocked himself out.

This, and it happens more than you might think. After about 220 days on the hill I think I've seen 3 or 4. Also that rapist at monarch
 
I watched Matthias Lanzinger's crash live in Kvitfjell, Norway back in 2008. He went down doing like 80mph and his leg basically torn off from rotating. He ended up having to amputate.
 
I being a complete dumbass was sitting in the landing of a jump when I was in 4th grade and some snowboarder 5s and as he swung his board around for the last 180, his board sliced my side and I was pissing blood for a while
 
My dad had a gnarly story... Back in the days of safety straps, my dad's buddy had his ski eject coming off the lip, it swung around and sliced his sack open.
 
saw a naked old asian man on the trail when going from harmony to emerald chair. Skiing saw skis, then poles, then a jacket then skiboots and then an old asian man attempting to pull up his ski pants with a younger woman trying to help him.

I bit part of my tongue off after taking a knee to the chin. Landed switch on the knuckle of a 35ft ish jump. Lots of blood and was forced to look at the part of my tongue that I spit out

One time my dad stuck his pole through his calf... and didnt want to tell his mom so he had his friend stitch it up and somehow hid it from her.
 
I was on a lift in Killington once when I saw a couple kids that couldn't have been older than 14 literally going through the ski racks in front of the lodge snatching poles. I kid you not they skied away with at least four pairs of nice poles.

That left a pretty fucking bad taste in my mouth for the rest of the day.

saw a dude get knocked out cold at pc the other day. he was out for a minute or two.

also one time at my local hill in NY i saw a ski patroller chasing his snowmobile down a closed trail

Didnt see it but a few years back a kid was packing down the lip on a snowy day by sliding up the 10-50 foot tall jump and accidentally fell over the lip plunging his skis into the snow and breaking both his legs. He just slides features and straight airs now.

Then watching my friend go for a misty 5 off a 10' gap jump and landing about 10 feet from the sweet spot. He immediately pulled up his sleeve to reveal a very swollen, broken wrist.

Last year at our mountains big air there was a pretty talented kid doing big rodeo 5 japans in practice off the 35 foot jump and either he decided to go for double in practice or the lip just sent him and he took it square to the back past the sweet spot. I hear hes a bit messed up but also hear hes fine, he had the oxygen bag over his face, I believe knocked out and heard he coughed up blood. Havent seen him once this year. Hope hes back on the slopes though.
 
Watching 2 of the best skiers get hurt. One fell doing a cork 7 and then the other not seeing him fall and doing a flip off a jump straight on the dudes head with his ski.
 
in saas fee a few summers ago and a racer went over the big jump and as he landed, his skis sank into the slush and he then proceeded to break both its ankles. Didn't see it happen, just got told as he was helicoptered off the mountain
 
Seeing henrik laying down lifeless for a minute without any help. And you're behind the screen with a tear in a eye trying to get there and just help him.
 
my friend hit the donkey Dick weird and hurt his back pretty bad, he kept skiing though

I heard that somebody died at granite peak a couple weeks ago. Not sure if it was true or not

Last Saturday somebody landed on their head on the knuckle of the 70 at GP, didn't look good at all. Respect to whoever that was.
