Most Depressing Story Ever

I read the title and laughed in amazement at how much bad shit can happen. then I felt bad about laughing. then I felt good about feeling bad about laughing.
 
"AMARILLO -- A miniature horse given to a boy with brain cancer by the Make-A-Wish Foundation was killed by a pair of pit bulls who were found roaming in his yard, authorities said."

the exact same thing happened to me.

That really sucks, the kid has brain cancer AND has to deal with a dead mini-horse, AND he can't get a new one(unless enough people donate)

Plus it's not like the horse showed up and died, the kid had a couple days to play with it and learn to love it. If karma is real then a couple pitbull owners are gonna get fucked hard.
 
the converstion that ensued after telling my room mates about the story 

E-"HAHAHA thats awesome! "here kid, heres some hope, now watch as your neighbors dogs kill it""

A(from the other room)" did you just say thats awesome?! thats fucked up. the dying kid sat in the window and watched his last spec of joy get eaten by dogs."

E-"you know what andy? if i were there i would have thrown on my mike vick jersey cracked open a beer and watched them go to town."

And whoever said there'll bad karma for the dogs owners, maybe this kid did something bad and that's why he got cancer and his horse died. But still that's a really sad story
 
dude for that kid to have that much negative karma would be like him being a serial killer, and raped people 20 years younger than him, which considering his age isn't very likely.
 
that is terrible. but they could have put a title on it that wasn't so funny. i had to think about not laughing before i read it just so i wouldn't. 
 
i've never met a pitbull that i've liked, and there's certainly more than just one nasty pitbull. i apologize for generalizing, but out of my encounters with them, i don't like them.
 
I love how the make-a-wish foundation won't buy him a new one and how the community is going to donate to buy one. Like what does that show cancer kid? When you die we're going to replace you!
