Most controversial issue on newschoolers?

I need to do a pamphet for one of my classes discussing an issue that is very controversial, and it can be about anything. so i figured skiing. but i need some ideas. can u guys give me some issues and ur opinion?? (ex. one-foot slides, newschoolers vs racers, too many spins) thanks alot!!!

there is definately an issue between technicality of tricks(bigger spins less style) and less technicality of tricks(smaller spins better style)

seems there are only a couple of people here who have some common sense...in no way, shape, or form is any facet of skiing "controversial". How 'bout you pick something like abortion, euthanasia, legalization of marijuana, etc. where there are defined issues and sides and you can find a grip of info on the internet about it?

No matter how contreversial you guys all feel these "issues" are they arent. skiing will go on its course(a more predictable one than you think) no matter how much everyone on this site bitches about this and that to each other. You want a contreversial issue? look at crop dumping throughout the world. Look at how low or non-existent minimum wage laws and allowing countries to build factories in developing countries without forcing promised reinvestment actually helps the country develope. Not about whether or not one footers are cool, your teacher wont like it. Anyways, its good learn stuff and understand issues outside of skiing.

You mis-interpret...

I say it's a stylie 1440... but that simply means that it's better than a straight 1440.

However... if you really want to talk style, there's no WAY a 1440 can be more stylish than a switch 3 shifty done on the same jump. There's just no comparison at all.

My personal opinion is that nothing over 7 can be truly stylish.
