Just to see what your thoughts on what the most bombproof ski is, whether its from your own experience or a friends. Regardless of how stiff or soft the ski is, just seeing what you guys think is the most bombproof ski.

2005/2006 Chronic Wides.

05-06 invaders no doubt

but seriously, I haven't ridden alot of skis, so I wouldn't know much, but I've heard good things about chronics

Word, thats like alot of the old lines....Skogens, pollards, Elizabeths...Those things are wicked. But im saying if you had to choose ONE ski to last for like 5 years, what would it be ^ ^

rossignol scratch BC/FS from 2nd and 3rd year of production. All rossignol skis are bombproof. 1st edition 1080s had shitty edges and fell apart but could be ridden for years.

drilled 5 holes through them, very deep wide holes, they still worked, only recently snapped them, by accident.

I've seen (and ridden) LP's and iM103's with 250+ days on them that were still riding like new. My Mojo 90's are still in ridiculously good condition after around 80 days too.

i ski heads now, theyre tuff. i rode them all last year and their still new looking. have all the pop they had when i first rode them

I had a pair of K2 enemys, the black with union jack bases I rode for 5 seasons, then my father put another 4 seasons on them, still same ski. I also had some of the orange and cream colored scratch bc's got a solid 4 season out of them ridden hard. shit i am using the scratches as my rocks skis until my live llifes show up and the snow is right for them.

everyone i know with head mad tricks havent had eny problem.ummm i had a pair of line mavricks that held up for a long time but eventually the base delaminated from landimng on rocks on porpose.

i see alot of older k2 public enemys around. i guess those old mad trix are suposed to be amazing but i think some of the k2's are up there

The ones with wood sidwalls had problems with cracking sidewalls and losing camber. The all black ones from two years ago (ish?) would lose their pop and soften noticeably after a lot of use. They're awesome skis, but probably not the most durable.

Are you kidding me? Myself, and most of the people I ski with go through 2-3 pairs of skis a season. And not just because edges fall out,... but because shit that makes them completely unskiable.

park skis would have to be snake mad trix or original chronics, though last years are good too (second year was hit or miss).

not really, most people who rent are gapers who snowplow down groomers,

rentals just don't see the kind of abuse that an expirienced skier's skis would

the original Head Mad Trix Mojo ( the ones with the snakes on them), and the basic mad trix of that year too. The original Salomon 1080, and the public enemys.
