when i first heard that mosely was coming out with ski game for playstation i was excited, i thought that it would be pretty cool. but it licked ass. if his second game is as shitty as his first it will be an insult to skiing, and will solidify that mosely is actually a huge sell out.

 
Yah Mad Trix isn't very good but do you think that's Johnny's fault? Don't get me wrong, I think Johnny Mosely is a huge sell out but he's gotten recognition for this sport. It's not his fault his game sucks, it's the developers.

Man, shut the hell up, I agree mosely aint much more than a god damn pretty boy but the guy has some skill. JMMT was the first ski game out and was due to have problems, they also only had like 10 months to make the entire game. JMMT2 was gonna be way cooler than the first and the programmers were real die hards. psywar on this site was an actull programmer for JMMT 2 and worked his ass off the past year so JMMT 2 would be sick as hell. Then the game got posponed forever and they stopped all work on the game. SO there will not be a JMMT 2 and you should be lucky for what you got, look at the first skate board games, they all sucked nuts and took alot of time to make good.

if the second one is shit then its not good for skiing and it lets us down coz the game play is crap. if this one is shit then somthing should be done about it, but they would bring outa sequil if it was just as crap surely?

I don't wanna jump on the bandwagon but i have to say that whoever posted this, speaks like a true fuckin idiot. how is making a game that will spread freeskiing selling out? the closest you can get to a ski game that isnt racing is 'skifree.' when i bought this game i said that if it was better than 'skifree' it was awesome. everyone knows its low quality, but shit what else can you do in the summer but play that shit? people like the poster are all fuckin jealous or something cause there is no way this is selling out, cashing in at the most!

Sell out is the dumbest term I've ever heard. I used to think about it from the hardcore perspective when I was 13, didn't have to pay for shit... no car, car insurance, maintenence, and now 6g's for college... and the bills that come w/ having your own place. You need money to live in this world... and really you shouldn't limit yourself on how much you can reasonably attain.

When a band or some kind of proffessional alienates their fans, or their purpose for making music or competing, then they've 'sold out.' Like you can look at a band like blink182... if you've listened to their old stuff, how different was it from what they recently wrote, not much. They just got exposure, and profited from it. I wouldn't call them sellouts, because their music didn't change just to make money. I personally don't like Blink182... not because they are pop culture, or 'sellouts', but the message is pretty simple and doesn't appeal to me.

That is one of the most intelligent things I have read on this forum.

You can't accuse Moseley for selling out, just because he is making money from the sport. It is what he does for a living, and he worked hard to get where he is, and now he can kick back and enjoy what he earned.

His game sucked...yes....but so did the first snowboard game that came out...and the second. But who cares, at least someone bothered to make a game based on skiing.

The point....Just beacuse he doesen't flip burgers or wait tables to get money to ski, doesn't mean he is a sell out.

He may not be the best skier out there but he has talent and has worked to help progress our sport which is a lot more than you can say. So what if he gets paid a lot of money. So I guess what your saying is that people who get paid to do there jobs are sellouts retard.

 
You would sell out if you were in his position too, how could you turn down that money, plus he helped bring skiing mainstream. Which sounds like it isnt good but youll be thankful he did later when were still around and the sport doesn't die out because companies dont support it.

yah, he ripped it up in the realm. In ski movie he skied that 5000ft couloir with mcconkey..that was sick. And threw a back full tail grab off a 30 footer. He's damn good.
